I see a lot of people trying to make him Curry 2.0 but I want Poole to have his legacy. To be compared to the Greatest Shooter of All Time is too much pressure for him. I just want him to give us Poole Parties these coming years. His playmaking is already graded A, his ball-handling is A+, and shooting is A+ but he has the potential to be SSS+ tier in all of his skills, including vertical! He just really needs to have that defensive IQ and grow better on his playmaking. I hope he finds his style of play, we never know up until when GS can still win with their unlimited screening and off-ball movement, but one thing is for sure, with the talent that surrounds Poole in the future, their offense is surely bright. This championship gave the young guys hunger to learn defense and how to be in this league the right way. Wiseman, when he got drafted, he wanted to be “the man” but after getting his ring, he stated that he just wants to contribute to what the team wanted from him, very selfless. Kuminga and Moody have been balling with patience and you can see them learning and listening all-throughout the Playoffs! I’m rooting for their young core until the end!
Hope he remains a Warrior for at least 3 more years...His championship experience at being so young but athletic and intelligent is going to fully bloom in the next few seasons. Playing with the same group of guys is important for developing chemistry, but even more unique is the fact that he's experienced what its like to be down BIG by 12-20 pts in these playoffs and yet still come back and win 6 out of 7 of those games where most people thought the game was over. Ex. Game 6 against Boston, down by 17pts in 1st quarter and then GSW takes the lead at the last second of the 1st and keeps lead the entite game and gets the chip. You cant buy such experience. This experience will certainly segway into him be cool and calm whenever he is down big in a big games going into the future. He, just like Quin Cook, are the "6th starter" so to speak. Comes off the bench and balls just like a starter - not giving the a defense a break at all despite the fact that Curry or Klay is off the court getting a quick rest.
if he keeps playing like this then the warriors will spend whatever to keep him since he has already cemented himself as a fan favorite in this playoff.
