Callcup Hill is a beast in summer.....Years ago there were wooden railway sleepers over every rise in the track and when the timber got chewed out rubber mat was put in there for that first bit from the hill. It is a nice drive out through the forest.
Shame Albany had such bad weather, would of been nice to see you go to a few of the beaches here, William bay got done up around April last year, helped out down there with the carpentey

If you are back in Melbourne for the 4x4 show in August make sure you head only 2 hours out to gippsland and do a weekend snow 4x4. It's a great experience.

Question - how loud is the exhaust noise, once the windows are up? Noticed the increase at the 10.25mark when you window went up... not sure if it was just the "go-pro" audio... Tomato is a "burn hazard" in the toastie - safer not to when travelling solo, best not to risk it :-)
