The best thing is the direction. He didn’t add unnecessary melodrama with screaming, crying or long OST montages. He kept the scenes crisp, short and thrilling. He balanced all tracks equally and treated each character with equal screen time. Each track is entertaining. Zanjabeel finally wrote something great
Fr this is def one of the best directed Pakistani dramas there is! I LOVE how he started the show on her celebrating her birthday in extravagance and grandeur and now she’s all alone with only herself. What a beautiful way to bring everything full circle! This is perhaps the only drama I would’ve loved to see more of (like 40 episodes). Still great overall! I hope this sets an example for other directors/producers to venture outside typical stories and focus on more risky ones. I also hope that producers read the comments/reviews so they understand the importance of a good director and how the audience today isn’t the audience of the 2000s - we notice little details and appreciate them. We notice plot holes, poor writing, cheap editing, and bad acting. NJ isn’t the perfect drama - it has many flaws. But it’s a great step! I hope our industry moves in a positive direction after this. Anyway super excited for the last episode hehe

Actually the strongest girl is Maha. However Noor Bano is the main lead but she has a backup , she is Richie Rich but Maha has no backup, no family, even she don't want his husband's money. She is so confident that she will live at her own without Safeer and without anybody else so in my views the strongest girl among all is Maha.
3 points that I want to mention 1)I loved the whole conversation of Hunaid and Safina. The way she said "Hunaid zindagi bahot lambi hai aur betiyon ko na jane kin kin azmaishon se guzarna padta hai aur yeh nanhi si jaan ab apne dadi ke dil mein soft corner banati phire" that deeply touched my heart. 2) I liked the way Safeer took stand for Maha, it was not expected from him. He didn't want to repeat the same mistake and loose maha again. I liked the way he didn't hesitate to speak against his mother. That somewhere hit Hunaid that it's high time I should also take stand for my daughter. 3) Finally Murad and Noor bano: their conversation was the main highlight of the episode. Wat disappointed me was they kept the gun shot scene incomplete 😔Rest all was superb👌🏻👌🏻

The Pakistani TV industry should be proud of the drama Noor Jahan. The writing, direction, and performances were all par excellence. This is one of the best dramas I've seen in the last few years, and I will truly miss it. Please consider making a Season 2!

I love his character development throughout the drama but we shouldn’t forget how he treated Noor bano’s father and how he treated her in the early days of their marriage. He does feel guilty and we can see it but he can’t expect Noor bano to suddenly forgive and forget what happened to her father. Would he have forgotten and forgiven Noor bano if she had done the same with his mother?

The way Safeer shut Honaid up saying his daughter is not loved; mind blowing. Maza aa gaya. Honaid deserved this slap, biggest blood boiler, even more than Noor Jahan.
Ufff finally that Useless guy “Safeer” proved himself a good father at least & took a stand for his family. Maha’s performance was too good when she was making her point clear to her husband. All credit goes to script writer and director who didn’t add any extra drama and btmeezi. Loved Mah’s dialogues, calm but critical.

In all fairness, Noor Bano's father was not perfect either; he never forgave Noor Jahan for her love marriage with his brother, and that final scene where the sons beat him up, it was the old man who started it - by pushing Noor Jahan, which the sons did not like (being mama's boys!). So in all fairness, I think Noor Bano should forgive Murad now and move on with their married life. "Hissa barabar ho gaya". Noor Bano too has been at fault for not listening to her father when he warned her against marrying Murad, but at that time Noor Jahan was more important than her father. Murad has changed and truly loves her. He has given up his mother for the wife; she should understand this sacrifice

Everybody used to question my admiration for saba hameed's acting skills, but today I am so proud of that fact, and she is again proven time and again that why she is the queen 👸. She is is absolutely supremely talented. All those actors around her have so graciously balanced that spectrum that it seems so true to be perfect. The drama is at its finest. Music,direction, dialogues, and not to forget the acting skills how wonderful ❤👏👏👏
Props to Noor Bano for not forgetting how her husband that she once loved, was also involved in her father's mistreatment. People might want a happy ending but in my opinion no ending could have been more justified than this. Kubra's acting skills are top notch.

Noor Bano managed to complete her revenge living among a family of snakes. She had no one by herself, she did that all herself. That shows how strong she is. Not only did she stand up for herself but also stood up for Sumbal and Safina. That's how every girl should be ❤❤

This is the first time i watched noorjahan bcz of my mother. Dont know about earlier eps. But This ep belongs to KUBRA KHAN. She has done such an outclass job. Her micro-expressions in the last scenes👏👏
Mukhtiar shah started this whole mess, the drama writers want to portray mukhtiar shah in a positive light but i genuinely fail to see it that way. His extreme ego and zaat paat ka ghuroor destroyed his relationship with his brother and his family and created a rift in the family, even his own wife walked away from him with his daughter. Noor jahan became highly insecure due to his constant belittling and taunts and insults and became overly possessive of her sons thinking if she controls her sons she can stand against Mukhtiar shah, a habit which led to her own family breaking up and sons finally leaving her, even on his death bed Mukhtiar shah forced his daughter to go back into Noor Jahan's house and destroy her family, just for revenge of his insult, even though the daughter did not want to go, he said he was worried for her safety but if he was, would he make her promise to go back to the enemies when she said she has left and doesnt want to go back??? Absolutely not, his ego was more important than his daughter's safety. He is a man who till his last breath cared only about his ego and was willing to send his daughter to the enemies house, was willing to destroy her relationship with her husband. Mukhtiar shah's behavior drove the entire drama, turned Noor jahan into this controlling and insecure person, he wants the enemity to continue even after his death, and wants his daughter to "inherit" the hatred, how someone can feel sympathetic towards him is beyond me. I do feel bad for his daughter though, she was innocent and only wanted to do good but her father's love and insult he suffered due to her decisions broke her heart completely. Now she too is just being blinded by rage, hopefully by the last episode this family feud will end and everyone will finally live past the trauma Mukhtiar shah created in their lives.
None of the characters are black and white. Realistically, people in Pakistan and India do not like the idea of their children marrying outside the caste. So the disdain was pretty realistic. Mukhtar Shah’s disdain was much deeper then that…he didn’t start it, his father did. Since Noor Jahan’s husband was the eldest, Mukhtar Shah was made in charge of the throne and this led to his wife leaving as he was busy taking care of the mess that his brother left and had to compensate for it. His situation wasn’t black and white either as he was the younger brother who ended up compensating for his older brother not willing to take over the throne. Siblings who have to compensate and repent for the mistakes of other siblings have the tendency to hold resentment. I feel both Noor Jahan and Mukhtiar were similar people but with different goals. Individuals who held on to resentment and who were unable to let go. Mukhtiar hated Noor Jahan for being the reason he had to take on his older brother’s role as the heir of their father’s throne and Noor Jahan resented them for never accepting them. Then again, instead of cutting off the family who rejected her…she held on to the syed title that came with her husband’s name and wanted inheritance and also involved Mukhtiar Shah in Safeer’s wedding.
It was absolutely best ending! Being a daughter-in-law & a mother-in-law ( in future) , I think this drama sets example for all women. '' Saas ko apnay naseeb ka muqabla apni bahu k naseeb se nahi Karna chaiye.'' ❤️ I hope, we all understand this and start living with peace and Harmony ❤️
Mukhtiar shah wasn’t that much innocent…. Arrogant landlord who always mistreated Noor Jahan for being a non-syed which is ridiculous mindset. That day the boys tore his shirt was the result of Mukhtiar Shah’s mishandling of Noor Jahan. Feeling bad for Murad; who always felt guilty about that day. Noor Jahan’s world is falling apart…!!!
I disagree completely. He might have never been very kind hearted , that's okay. He just didn't accept noor jahan( we don't know the real circumstances with the marriage of noor jahan) and after watching this drama, I Don't blame him for not liking noor jahan. What noor jahan did with him was intentional cruel planning to drag innocent noor bano into all this. So he had every right to push noor jahan. Murad could have just pushed him out of home, but they went all 3 vs 1 old man...beating him to death. That's way too horrible. Murad did not even for once consider that he was Bano' father. And even after that , Murad himself never confessed the truth to Bano. So that idiot is far from forgiveness. He Don't deserve that.

There should be a noor jahan mini series after it where they show why noor jahan is the way she is. Or a full fledged 30-35 episode long season 2 with same writers, directors and actors. Because due to the rapid end, i feel like they will rush it or leave an open ending like Baby Baji. Arse baad aik munfarid aur acha drama aya tha hope they dont ruin the ending.
The story was undeniably a masterpiece-perfectly crafted with exceptional direction, brilliant acting, and a captivating atmosphere. Every element fit together seamlessly. However, one subtle detail at the beginning felt somewhat overlooked: Safeena’s birthday, which got overshadowed by the focus on Noor Jahan’s birthday. At the end, acknowledging Safeena's birthday early on, with Noor Jahan warmly welcoming her with a cake, could have added more depth to the scene and strengthened their bond. The visual of two cakes, celebrating both birthdays, would have brought warmth and balance to the celebration, subtly highlighting shared joy and mutual respect. While Noor Bano does wish Noor Jahan, a dual celebration would have created a moment of togetherness, adding emotional richness and leaving a lasting impression. Two cakes, two birthdays, and one big celebration could have made the moment even more memorable. NEVERTHLESS, IT WAS A UNDOUBTEDLY A MASTERPIECE.
All female characters are worth watching. They all were playing their part fabulously, whether it's protagonist, antagonist, or a supporting role. And actors should be judged according to their act, not with what characters they play.

So in all fairness, I think Noor Bano should forgive Murad now and move on with their married life. "Hissa barabar ho gaya". Noor Bano too has been at fault for not listening to her father when he warned her against marrying Murad, but at that time Noor Jahan was more important than her father. Murad has changed and truly loves her. He has given up his mother for the wife; she should understand this sacrifice

Everybody used to question my admiration for saba hameed's acting skills, but today I am so proud of that fact, and she is again proven time and again that why she is the queen 👸. She is is absolutely supremely talented. All those actors around her have so graciously balanced that spectrum that it seems so true to be perfect. The drama is at its finest. Music,direction, dialogues, and not to forget the acting skills how wonderful ❤👏👏👏
Props to Noor Bano for not forgetting how her husband that she once loved, was also involved in her father's mistreatment. People might want a happy ending but in my opinion no ending could have been more justified than this. Kubra's acting skills are top notch.

Mukhtiar shah started this whole mess, the drama writers want to portray mukhtiar shah in a positive light but i genuinely fail to see it that way. His extreme ego and zaat paat ka ghuroor destroyed his relationship with his brother and his family and created a rift in the family, even his own wife walked away from him with his daughter. Noor jahan became highly insecure due to his constant belittling and taunts and insults and became overly possessive of her sons thinking if she controls her sons she can stand against Mukhtiar shah, a habit which led to her own family breaking up and sons finally leaving her, even on his death bed Mukhtiar shah forced his daughter to go back into Noor Jahan's house and destroy her family, just for revenge of his insult, even though the daughter did not want to go, he said he was worried for her safety but if he was, would he make her promise to go back to the enemies when she said she has left and doesnt want to go back??? Absolutely not, his ego was more important than his daughter's safety.
He is a man who till his last breath cared only about his ego and was willing to send his daughter to the enemies house, was willing to destroy her relationship with her husband. Mukhtiar shah's behavior drove the entire drama, turned Noor jahan into this controlling and insecure person, he wants the enemity to continue even after his death, and wants his daughter to "inherit" the hatred, how someone can feel sympathetic towards him is beyond me. I do feel bad for his daughter though, she was innocent and only wanted to do good but her father's love and insult he suffered due to her decisions broke her heart completely. Now she too is just being blinded by rage, hopefully by the last episode this family feud will end and everyone will finally live past the trauma Mukhtiar shah created in their lives.

Best description, loved it. But I don't think the writer is wise enough to come up with such an ending.
None of the characters are black and white. Realistically, people in Pakistan and India do not like the idea of their children marrying outside the caste. So the disdain was pretty realistic. Mukhtar Shah’s disdain was much deeper then that…he didn’t start it, his father did. Since Noor Jahan’s husband was the eldest, Mukhtar Shah was made in charge of the throne and this led to his wife leaving as he was busy taking care of the mess that his brother left and had to compensate for it. His situation wasn’t black and white either as he was the younger brother who ended up compensating for his older brother not willing to take over the throne. Siblings who have to compensate and repent for the mistakes of other siblings have the tendency to hold resentment. I feel both Noor Jahan and Mukhtiar were similar people but with different goals. Individuals who held on to resentment and who were unable to let go. Mukhtiar hated Noor Jahan for being the reason he had to take on his older brother’s role as the heir of their father’s throne and Noor Jahan resented them for never accepting them. Then again, instead of cutting off the family who rejected her…she held on to the syed title that came with her husband’s name and wanted inheritance and also involved Mukhtiar Shah in Safeer’s wedding.
Finally Safeer took stand for him and his family.
All 4 of Noor Jahan's daughter in laws did such great acting and justice to their characters.

Not every drama deserves a happy ending, people want a happy ending just bcz they like the couple and their chemistry but considering Murad's behavior in the past, Noor Bano's arguments were all just and valid.
Not at all, Murad didn't kill or planned to kill him, he died of insult and trauma. Murad only raised his hand as Mukhtar Shah hit his mother and brought her down to floor in her own house, no son would tolerate this. But as a husband Murad has done everything for Noor, he has guilt, he loved her beyond everything. Even Noor jahan could have died of trauma as Mukhtar was the one to hir first.
