I'm 60 years old and I still listen to these guys. They are quite simply amazing, sounds as fresh as the day I heard it when I was 20 years old.

Also turned 60 a few months ago . Whatever other genres of music I have explored over the course of time, tend to return to Joy Division. I know that New Order took a while to play Joy Division songs live, but they certainly did well whilst performing 'Atmosphere' in 1998.

@@steve261brown I don't think Barney ruined it at all. Sure it's not as good as Ian, but when I hear other sings this song, I don't think they are any better than Barney. At least with Barney he's part of the creation of this song.

Memories I was in The Holiday inn Reading , New Order had the top floor . The foyer & the rest of the Hotel was full of Mancs , sleeping on chairs etc in The Foyer it rocked backstage . My mate Tony was asked by Rob Gretton to go up the telescopic fireman’s ladders to take some photos . Rob told me he only asked Tony to go up there to get rid of him for a bit - memories . Rob was quite heavy fat even then in 1993 ish or was it 98 I can’t remember ? 😍🌈😍🌈😍🌈😍🌈😍🌈😍
