Don't change the fiming format, as every dock is potentially different from day to day. "Eventless" is now your super word 🙌 Thanks for the upload, great entertainment
8 trips to Lisbon from the UK this year for me... love driving the other side if the channel. Not a big lover of Lisbon although its my home town i have been in the UK since 1996. Love your videos as always please keep them coming mate. 👌👌👍
Great to have you back Daniel 😊 great scenery there. I don't mind France but I am a bit biased being a Francophile lol😂 I always enjoy films of drivers at the ports so that I can try and spot what British & Irish vehicles are still shipping out (or back)😂😂
Nice watch id luv to try trucking abroad but its taken 2 years to get a class 1 job from class 2 6 months in i like it but only on London runs and south coast not luving the London sites.....
Unfortunately London will never get any better. Too much traffic, too many people with no regard or respect for others, and the government constantly imposing new rules and regulations in a bid to tax drivers to death
When you say you must enter the region of Spain you are in do you have to change it every time you cross a regional border or just the region you are in when you start or finish a shift
I’ve not been on TH-cam so much recently,so I’ve missed your videos…What happened to your Thailand adventure ? Now I’ve seen you’re demoted to a Volvo..Welcome back
Scania soon hopefully 🙏🏾 came back from Thailand in May. Decided not to vlog just wanted to enjoy my time there without walking round with a camera in my face. Going back for a month after Christmas I might do something then
Gave up the Scania when I moved to Thailand and was given the Volvo when I came back in may. Hopefully will have a Scania coming my way in the new year 🙏🏾
Non EU vehicles have stricter rules regarding time spent and number of stops in the EU since brexit. The Irish vehicles can spend longer outside of their own country
Enjoyable as ever. I think I saw an EST wagon at Dover as you drove towards the ferry. Do drivers jump between KB, EST, FBN & ST etc depending on workload or tend to stick with one firm? I'm guessing it's a pretty small world within the Events/Show. Saw a KB 18t wagon at Bridgwater Services, which is next to our coach depot. Looked like a nice truck.
Some drivers do and others stay with the same company. I’ve been here 13.5 years and there’s a few been here longer than me. It is a small world within events most people have mutual friends with others
not if he has to go on a bank holiday as ferries now leave portsmouth on thursdays and fridays and take 33hrs to get to spain but there is the 2015hrs ferry to st malo that gets in st malo at 7am french time
Filming going in to Dover port is great for those they haven’t been or still learning the process. So it makes a valuable part of the video
Good to know thank you
Totally, helped me when I did first time in a truck at yesterday
I've videos of the port and the train at Folkestone, met a few KB guys catching the ferry back home. 👍🏻
As someone who works at the Port of Dover it’s nice to see it from the customers perspective. I’m glad my colleagues got you on that early boat 👍
Nice to tag along on your trips, look stunning.
These videos are so relaxing to watch
Thanks once again for taking us along with another great journey
Great video as usual. 46:00 Nice to see Tipper drivers are the same the world over 🤣
I’m saying nothing 😂😂😂
Really enjoyed that Dan also the last one round Paris cheers

Great vlog as usual mate looking forward to seeing the next one safe journey

Uneventful would sound better maybe 😊 Great vlog buddy, glad to see you back again.
That’s the word I was looking for 🤣 I’ve got a brain like soup 🙄😂

Great video, the Volvo looks good in the KB livery
I agree. Best looking trucks we have no doubt. I just prefer the interior of the Scania 😎
Have a nice day, friend. A follower from India 🇮🇳
Hi mate another good vid nice to have you back doing vids noticed you are on a Volvo now
Hopefully not for much longer 🙏🏾
Love seeing the port stuff
Amazing how it has changed over 50 years
I love Portugal. To pass holidays. I am Portuguese with great pride.
Good job 👍🏻
Pleased your back love your content
just another day at the office eh! magic keep the shiny side up
Nice one Dan. Another great vid to watch keep em coming fella
Lisbon looked like a concrete jungle thought London was bad with all the high rise flats going up
Outskirts of Lisbon maybe so. The old town and deeper inside the city is as nice as they come. 1 of the best in Europe
@@d1986scottAnd Jesus looks great on the cliff 👍🏻
what we would like to see is the loading and unloading please..
It's a Great Drive to Lisbon for Daniel.🤓
Great video !! Thanck you to be back at it :) ||
👌🏽
Leave the ports etc in makes for interesting video

Another great vlog could use more different camera angles
If p&o had owned the Titanic theyd have sold tickets for the lifeboats
TWV park is my target from Calais
Not been in there yet but wrong way for us on this occasion anyway as we were heading for Rouen
@d1986scott Yeah I noticed 🤣
When you say you must enter the region of Spain you are in do you have to change it every time you cross a regional border or just the region you are in when you start or finish a shift
Just at the beginning and end of the shift.
@d1986scott 👍
Are all the KB units new? I remember you driving a Scania
We still have 2016 scanias and 2018 dafs but most are 2019 or newer
Why don’t you use le shuttle?
Down to cost I assume. We do use it sometimes. I prefer the boat most times anyway. Chance for something to eat shower and stretch the legs
What happened to thailsnd did you go if dk how was it
It was amazing. Best thing I’ve ever done. Going back for a month very soon.

when did ya swap from the scania to volvo mate?
Gave up the Scania when I moved to Thailand and was given the Volvo when I came back in may. Hopefully will have a Scania coming my way in the new year 🙏🏾
@ i been in a 2021 volvo fh 500 v4 for last 2 years i do miss my old scania tho was a lovely unit
Just noticed on the video your running on Irish plates?

Is this Fly by Night?
KB mate names on the truck 😅😅
Didn’t you leave ?
Yes I left August last year and came back May this year
Under no circumstances stop filming driving om to ferries. That is all. Carry on.
Noted 😂
Who was playing?
Jungle!
Do you know Peter Millar?
Not by name
No Bank Holiday for us this week until Xmas..youve lost the plot mate🤦♂️
Who says I had the plot to begin with?
Eventless/uneventful......?? or nothing much happening...
..and its good to be in sync!!!
Is it not economically/time feasible to go Portsmouth/ Santander Dan ?
not if he has to go on a bank holiday as ferries now leave portsmouth on thursdays and fridays and take 33hrs to get to spain but there is the 2015hrs ferry to st malo that gets in st malo at 7am french time
I couldn’t tell you what the comparisons are cost wise but I’d rather not sit on that ferry for 35 odd hours I’d much rather drive it 😁
Portsmouth to Caen , - Ouistreham is the way we sailed if going via Tours - Irun down the A10 and on... Great relais at Tours btw. 😁
Horrible boring trip. To long sitting around.
@@anthony1636 its also boring going via dover to get to spain as i live in portsmouth i get the boat to santander weekly
