For a beginner rc car it's not too bad it just depends on how you drive it, I had one of them in my hand it was a brushless version and for overall driving it was pretty good. The JLB Cheetah is pretty good maybe not as the 4s Kraton but maybe you should give it a try? The 120a version can run on 4s
I could agree 100% that it depends on your driving style. For most beginners though, they want to do what I do because in the end, they see this and want to do it themselves. I've heard a lot about the JLB Cheetah, but tbh I have no interest in it.
Only good thing with this platform is the amount of different companies make it. If you want the real one it's based off of then you can go with the LC Racing. But for the clones you have wltoys, rlaarlo, and a few other companies. Also Amazon now sells a bunch of them as well as the parts. Shame you had a bad experience with it though. Being a Chinese brand plenty of quality control issues with these. 1 person may get one that is a tank and someone else can get a lemon. Keep up the good content and you'll be getting a sub from me
I love when you burned the rc. And the Phillips if they use jis screws you need special screwdriver for them or they will most likely round out. That’s what turned me away from tamiya products.
I have hit metal posts with my Arrma Infraction multiple times and have never broken it. I have $250 ish dollars into it. The quality overall though of the WL-Toys doesn't justify the price imo. I'll recommend that people save for something better.

Can anyone explain how on earth some of the plastic survived and some metal melted?
Edit: yes I do question the materials used
I think that it had to do with me not letting it sit and burn longer.
Rip wltoys

I appreciate you man! And I completely agree with you! I think that I wanted to get the most I could out of having a "lemon", if I even did have one.

Forget burning it, I thought running it over was the highlight of the testing 😂. I still watch it so many times and find it hilarious.
The idea to @Whistlindiesel durability test it was just so great😂
If it was a WD test it wouldn't have lasted this long.
@@traxrc 😂
No rc would have survived full speed into a metal post... Its a chinesse rc with no part support other than Banggood. cheesy steel and aluminum.

@@traxrc thats an onroad truck. A trutgy wont survive. Your whole rigth side or left side would be utterly destroyed
Ok I’ve slammed my stampede 4x4 (don’t have it anymore) into polls the same way and it was fine
