11:50-12:10 This game captured the not only the spirit of Spider-Man, but also "being a character in the Marvel universe". Venom just throwing out "Galactus!" like that is such an enriching detail to the world of the game.
But lol 17:48 Venom isn't even touching Spider-Man. This mistake wasn't in the PS1 version. Interesting.
I'm glad this game is still being played and messed around with in this day and age. So many childhood memories with this game, going to my cousin, eating snacks and playing this for hours on end
Same! With the amount of relevant interest people still have with this game, I hope it would encourage either a remaster or a remake with tighter platforming and handling controls! Plus all the costumes you'd unlock (or cheat to get) would look great with updated looks and textures just like the PS4 game did with theirs!

If you pay attention in the final cutscene in the jail cell, behind Mysterio is a picture of a bikini clad woman on the beach with Mysterio's fish bowl helmet superimposed over her head. I just noticed it.

after all the Spider-Man games I've played. this game was always my favorite. even though I had it back on the 64, it was the most amazing game I played as a kid. I still have it and still play it today here and there. But this really means alot when I see someone who still makes videos of this game.

the animators on the pc and dream cast cutscences obviously did not get paid enough , because i mean look at the handle 2:54 , they could not be arsed to make it move down so it just tilts instead , lol

Venom and Carnage Ock look more scary in the Dreamcast version than in PS1.
Did you go in the code for this, or just use editing software to make this video? Either way, amazing work. But the sound effect of someone bumping into Peter on 1:23 is still out of sync.
i used editing software, there is no way to edit the cutscenes themselves as they are just FMV's

The issue at 17:09 is still there as a matter or fact. In the original PS1 version, you see that Monster Doc Oc grabs and pulls Spider-Man down to the same floor they fought. In the Dreamcast version since they used the beta animations, the shot where you see Spider-Man falling to the ground and Monster Doc Oc having that mechanical arm he pulled Spider-Man down is heavily altered for the worst. Now it’s just Monster Doc Oc walking slowly be like “I’m going to the beach now.” Lol xD
obviously I was unable to fix that without replacing that entire scene with the PS1 version, but yes Beta Ock has an awkward af walk

I love the cutscenes to this dreamcast game looks awesome than the one on PS1 it's like looking at an animated series TV show except venom was funny in this one.

What are the policemen in the choppers saying during the heist?
"New York Police Department. Cease and desist at once. Lay down your arms or prepare to" - and I suppose the rest was going to be "be shot down" or something like that, but of course it's cut off when the missile hits one of the two. Later, when the other chopper catches up with spidey, they say "Impact! We've hit a transmission tower! I'm out of pursuit, I'm getting off this thing, now!"
Damn nice fixing of the scenes but I feel like the being part is still out of sync (the Doc Oc part)

The first one (the science expo one)? Unless you remake that cutscene, it can't be fixed.
I actually attempted to fix the science expo cutscene with Otto, it turned out horribly and decided to leave it as it is

You still need to find some way to fix the game because DXwnd is just making the sewer levels and the bank levels are buggy as hell,and the levels with the symbiotes
What do you mean by "buggy"? You can use "buggy" to describe many different problems in the game. Which bugs are you experiencing?
Whatever problem you're having, I'll try to help you:
Turn on compatibility mode and set it to Windows 98/ME. I have found that this will fix certain sound issues, like the loud static sound bursts (I'm not sure what to call them lol.) It won't fix the music cutting out e.g. Race to the Bugle, as this is an intrinsic problem with the game.
Use dgvoodoo2 to improve the graphics. The game looks MUCH sharper when using this. Read the Quick Guide in the main folder before using the program. I can reply later with what settings I used to improve the graphics. There are some bugs like screen flickering every now and then from forcing the game to run at a higher resolution, but it's not too bad.
Of course, you don't have to improve the graphics, though it is pretty amazing to see the game looking MUCH better after all these years. I just wish I had a gaming computer and a 4K monitor so I could run the game in 4K, and then record it so I could upload it to TH-cam. But I have a laptop that has a max resolution of 1366x768, so playing the game in 4K will have to wait lol.
and use dxtory to limit fps (rather than dxwnd. If you try to use dxwnd and dgvoodoo2 at the same time, dgvoodoo2's graphical improvements will be ignored.) I've also used dxtory for Toy Story 2 to fix the Zurg boss fight. For Spider-Man, you have to limit the fps to 20. Yes, 20. Not 30. The free version of dxtory is only a trial, so I don't know how long it will last. Though, I've had it for a couple of weeks now. You have to start it back up every time you turn your computer back on, but it's the best fps limiter I have found. 20 fps makes the game look a bit choppy of course, but many timing problems will be fixed. This includes all of the major fixes people have already talked about (such as the ones in Spidey vs. Scorpion, Scale the Girders, Police Evaded, and Catch Venom) as well as new fixes not yet addressed: Spider-Man using his impact webbing to break the window on the top of the bank (It's when he says, "I hope these hostages are still alright."), Venom breaking into a window (and later out of a window) of the building Spider-Man chases him into, and Spider-Man chasing Venom through a hallway of the building (This one has been somewhat addressed, but with this and all of the aforementioned issues, I have found 20 fps makes it look how it was intended to look).
I tested higher fps limits, but 20 fps is what I finally settled on.
I like to have the fps overlay on so I can make sure dxtory is working, but you can choose to turn it off if you prefer it that way.
A caveat: For some reason, all cutscenes/FMVs are pretty choppy. The intro ones especially. It could be due to dgvoodoo2... I'm not sure. But this certainly isn't a deal breaker.
