Yes choices have consequences even to others (victims) but the GRACE of GOD is SUFFICIENT! His strength is made perfect in weakness.

Be careful not to try and impute your own righteousness like its spoken of in Romans 10:2-5. The righteousness of God is eternal and can never be taken away by anything. Not even by our mistakes. Remember when Jesus was telling the disciples when He was washing their feet that 'if you are bathed you only need to wash your feet'? He meant you can only receive righteousness ONCE and never TWICE or more. Meaning there's no backsliding. Backsliding means you LOSE salvation and will require to obtain it again. You cannot be bathed again. If you do, you clearly never understood the concept in the first place. We only need to wash our feet. And there's no sin in a believer. If there is then he is not a believer. A believer can sin but he is not a sinner meaning he doesnt reside there! If an american visits kenya for even 5 years without an intention of becoming a kenyan, that visit and stay wont make him kenyan. And God will NEVER leave him nor forsake him. Hebrews 13:5. There's nothing like backsliding. What you did not acquire through your own effort cannot be lost through effort.
