Absolutely adore your talent and vocal skills. I have a voice acting background and use some of Halestorm tracks as a warm up. The vocal training itself for me was really tough, sometimes without noticeable results for months but true artists like you, Chino Moreno or Chester Bennington are a great impulse to not give up.

I'm very concerned that it may not be the right guitar for Dany. And, that concern is not just off the cuff. Choosing a guitar is a very personal thing, especially for someone with Dany's background in music.
It is easy to see why The Warning Army loves Lzzy! She is such a class act. ⚡⚡⚡

It never gets old hearing the story of Lzzy gifting that Gibson Explorer to Dany from The Warning, and the fact that there are countless videos of that moment happening is priceless and amazing!!

About mental health: to anyone who's ever been a victim of hate / violence because of their appearance, gender, orientation, race : DO NOT ever let a hateful notion 'there's something wrong with me' sink in. Trust me, it's a recipe for self hatred and compulsive anxieties later on. When we suffer and we need a break, it's only natural to think: maybe if I wasn't 'different', if I was 'normal' I would be accepted. No, haters will always find something else to prey upon. I've always had kinda androgynous look, which was a fuel for bullies when I was growing up. I embraced it, used it to my advantage in my acting / modeling career, I was almost the face of Leon in these new Resident Evil games :)

I saw Halestorm, The Warning and Lilith Czar in 2022 at Blossom Music Center. Awesome show from beginning to end. Thought it might be rained out. Waited in the car till the storm passed.

Being a kid that survive the Vietnam War and refugee camp, came here as a teenager in 83 to America alone and no English, I don't find any celebrity/star that inspire me...until Lzzy, of course.
I have a daughter and the first time I hear 'Dear Daughter' (5 years ago), it was the first time I am bawling out crying since I left Vietnam. It speaks the words I want to say but couldn't find the words. My daughter needed to hear those words...We cried. and now ''Be unapologetic..you", how great is that. I don't have a Bucket List, but I have one now with one item on it: Just to meet Lzzy to say 'Thank you'. August 1, Tampa, Meet & Greet, it will happens. Thank you, Allison and Thank you Lzzy.

Hello Allison, at 52:45 of the interview, you asked Lzzy what her fans might know about her. I am that guy who video taped her, Halestorm at that Ocktoberfest in front of a bank in Pennsylvania. I have this and several other high quality video's that I transferred to DVD when Lzzy was only 15 years old and Arejay was like 12 years old. I also have probably the very first ever phone interview on CD that Lzzy and Arejay talked for at least 45 minutes to my friend who now passed away. I truly believed in her and her brothers abilities back in those early years.

Lzzy Hale is such an inspiration! My son saw her live at Knotfest in Sydney last weekend and said the recordings don't do her voice justice - she is just incredible live. I hope one day to see her live. I got the best gift from him - Lzzy threw her wrist band into the crowd at the end of the set and he caught it and gifted it to me. So special 🤟

I remember talking to Lzzy on the last Euro tour. I met her in Belgium at the busses and I was talking to her about the dark time I was going through and she talked to me about how she was feeling the same. I gave her a letter explaining whtat I was going through and how much the band means to me. We talked and bonded through our trauma. I'm happy that she's feeling better. So am I. I'm so thankful for her and her music ♥

She is the last breath for rock n roll, one of the best things that happened to rock, good to see women rocking and having more balls than men.
Lzzy is awesome. My daughter and I did the father, daughter dance at her wedding 2 years ago to "Dear Daughter". When she asked what song we should dance to, I said "we're sure as hell not going to pick one of the same 5 songs that everyone uses"!

My favorite thing about this, and maybe just Alli, but that it's that we're human. Not just women. Not just men. Not this race that race. We're all figuring out our own identities no matter how old we are that we can't act like we have all the answers for the one niche people know us for (ie a woman in rock) it's so limiting. So when people look out with that as their focusing lens, its all they focus on, It disallows them to see anything else of value. So for that, Alli has a new fan in me. No nonsense is the way and fun side note, she looks incredible for 44-45. Thanks for a great interview
