      Wouldn't he have to stay there a lot since you didn't wet the substrate? He would die if he didn't get his moisture.

    I like everything except the last part where you used tweezers to take him out. You could have just washed your hands without soap or have used powder free gloves to take the frog out.

    I think I could find the most reliable information here. I got a Pacman frog, but the person I bought it from told me not to put any water in, because the frog could drown, and he also said that under no circumstances should I feed it worms, not grow it on a terrarium mat - in other words, the exact opposite of everything i see in this video and others. please advise me how to grow her

    • @dnadesignn
      @dnadesignn  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      First of all, actually the safest way to keep a Pacman is to use water only. With these substrates there's a chance that the frog will ingest the substrate when eating. You shouldn't worry about it drowning as long as you keep the water level below its mouth. About feeding worms, as long as the worms are captive bred and germ free, it should be fine, in fact, it is one of the best foods for them. Hope this helps.

    The java Fern really doesn't like it's rhizome to be covered at all. Gluing it the rock would be better for the plant.

    What about a filtration system for the pond? Do you not need that since the plants or do you change water out if so how ? Trying to remake this for mine.

    • @cyfi3214
      @cyfi3214 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey there. A bit late but you probably wouldn’t need a filtration unit on that small of a pond, heck I doubt you’d be able to fit one, But the lava rock is very porous and great for beneficial bacteria and the plants eat the waste of the bacteria. especially that frogbit (ones that look like little lily pads) so it should stay clean
