Cass, the noble aspiration of providing hope to kids who could end up with little chance at achieving a measure of success and make sth of their lives is the kind of cause that needs the support of every1... individuals, business, corporations & gov. And if the vehicles are you, the waves & a surfing academy then i fully support your struggles. I suggest you escalate the campaign by not only utilising social media avenues, but also mainstream media both print & electronic. All the best of luck.

Peter Smith, and what if, the business pays no rent? Who uses the building now? No-one else wants to use it. This is like District Six all over again. Perhaps Muizenberg Council could HEAVEN FORBID, do something for the community of Muizenberg? Something for both paying clients and underprivileged too. Cass is doing some good and needs support and encouragement. He also has to eat, and surfboards etc cost money. Surely a compromise could be reached?

It's true. the municipality is trying to turn muizenberg into an upper-class-only experience without considering the real people of the area. it shouldn't be a yuppie-only attraction for their weekend surfs. no. surfing is for everyone.
From what is shown in this video it is quite clear that you are not giving lessons to the underprivileged (1:54 , 3:21 and 3:58). As a Muizenberg local I have only ever seen you giving lessons to paying clients. This is a business which is trying to make more money by not paying rent. World Champion Free Loader!
