I shit you not. This might be the best zelda remix/cover I've heard. It's very close if not beats the twilight princess hyrule field cover done by jam2995 a while back. WOW this is amazing.

How many covers of Dragon Roost Island do I need to fall in love with? AT LEAST ONE MORE. This immediately jumped to top of the list at 1:58 and then blew me away for the rest of the song. Amazing vibes and energy.
I also went back and listened to your older cover of this and it was fun to see what changed between the versions. The new version definitely has a more tempered and sustained strength throughout the composition and I'm SO glad you decided to revisit this!!
@@Vince-q1z If you're looking for more metal, in a different flavor from the more ethereal TheOnlyDeerAlive here, my other favorite cover is the low grungy guitar in Jim Cook's cover as "The Misanthrope". Just. AUGH. dj-jo's cover is unusually calm for their dubstep norm (but still occasionally quite loud, volume warning lol) If you're looking for an orchestral version, the London Philharmonic Orchestra did a dang nice one. C-Storm did a cover 15 years ago that I still listen to. It's number 133913 on newgrounds! Ben Hirsh's mostly-acoustic cover is very cute and fun. Probably what I think of when I am playing the actual game. If you have trouble finding any of these covers, or would just like me to post links, please let me know!
I'm not a big fan of Rock music to be honest; rarely do I find rock music working so well for an originally orchestral work. But this . . . this is such a great exception to the rule. Very, very well done. You've even inspired a few tweaks in how I might approach a remix for Dragon Roost Island one day.🎼
