- Bisan visited Khan Younis and witnessed the destruction facing families returning to the area.
Now #KhanYounis is a ghost town, with people returning from places like Rafah in small numbers to protect what remains of their properties or retrieve belongings while lone children roam the streets seeking water and other supplies.
Children in #Gaza have nowhere safe to go.
There is nothing safe about these relocation orders and there is nothing humanitarian about this Israeli-designated “humanitarian zone”.
Israeli forces have issued orders demanding civilians in eastern #Rafah to flee towards an Israeli-designated so-called “humanitarian zone” in Al-Mawasi and Khan Younis, which is reportedly being expanded.

first: even without the 'war' 2023 was pne of the deadliest years for Palestinians. Second: if this would be war, there wouldn't be as many civilians dead. If this would be war, the hospitals and other medical institutions wouldn't have been attacked. If this would be war, they wouldn't target civilians, intellectuals, children, women, elderly, journalists, medical personnel such as doctors, teacher, etc.

Gaza was under Egypt rule from 48 to 67. Then they were under Israel civil rule from 67 which built infrastructure and improved their quality of life tremendously. Then they started 2 intifadas with violence and suicide bombers. In 2005 Israel totally withdrew from Gaza. In 2006 Hamas took over, killed all Palestinian Authority representatives and started building an Iranian proxy terror state which peaked in the October 7th attack.
