Words may not fully express my entire feelings about this piece of work. There is something rather unusual about Ebenezer (the song). As an instrumentalist with an anointing for music, I can tell you that it is very unusual for an intro line and melodic line to morph into a melodic block (mslsmd, rdrm - mslsmd-rdls). It is very rare and there is no doubt in my mind that it is divinely inspired. The nuances, the swagger of the notes, the structure and organisation, even the keyboard solo - the jazz line in the solo - incredible. Not to even to mention the lyrics and dynamics of the beats. I was born into CCC Basilica in Kaduna and raised in one of the most popular CCC churches in Ibadan, keyboardist and organist at the age of 11. That foundation has solidified my musical discipline to date. Today, I am in Christ in a very far country, having left CCC many years ago. It is a great joy for me to see this level of work by a choir, knowing full well what it was like to be a CCC chorister and the oft challenges that limits the capacity. But glory be to God, because Apex Choir has set a great standard for many to follow. This level of work is clearly production level sound that stands shoulder to shoulder with several international movements like Hillsong & others. Live recording. That is the level that Apex Choir has set with what I've just listened to. May God almighty keep you holy and preserved IJN. Before I go, I would like to comment on something that is often taken for granted in music generally. That is the accompaniment. The lead vocal is often the one that is seen but the real heroes are those back-up vocals that are ever consistent, ever accurate and on point, hitting their notes each and every time. If you have led vocal without adequate back-up, I'm sure you will understand what I mean. I am very proud of all of you the way you have united behind your lead vocal. What about the drummers, the guitarists, the percussionists, every single one of you are heroes and may God reward you for your stewardship. Always remember that you are NOTHING without the Holy Spirit and without each other. I have seen choirs started well .... but you know what I mean. May God almighty keep you for Himself and keep you. My prayer is that one day, when this evil world is no more. that we will all meet in heaven in one place, where there will be no denomination, no CCC, no RCCG, no DLCM, no COZA or Winners, just THE RAPTURED, children of JESUS CHRIST, that day that is the only denominator that will matter. The beautiful thing about your ministration is that the music is indiscriminate, cutting across boundaries, religion, faiths, worlds, hearts and minds like a double edged sword. That is the evidence of heaven's music. Because in heaven, the only identity will be JESUS MUSIC. This is truly a foretaste of what heaven will be like. God BLESS you APEX CHOIR. God bless you and continue to lift you KENT EDUNJOBI. Your lot will not be like Samson who was felled by Delilah. May the Lord strengthen you. No Jezebel will have power over you. So I feel like I am the last person on the planet to not have heard this song until now, cuz up until a week ago during my dad's birthday, I had never for once heard this song, and once the DJ played it, a part of me instantly connected and I saw myself humming a song I have never heard or listened to before. Fast forward to today and on our way to church, the song was played on the radio, it was then I knew I had to know the origin of the song, didn't even know the actual title, but thank God for Google😂, found it, and it's been on repeat ever since. And much respect to the lead singer, his voice is simply sonorous to say the least, and the instrumentalists made me love drums 🥁 anew. God bless Apex Choir, and God bless the gospel of Jesus Christ ❤
I’m non white garment, but I give it to them when it comes to praise and worship. No Christian denomination can compete with them. I also love that their praise is organic.
Finally I found this track after a long search. Am a Muslim but my love for this track is unexplainable. Kudos to the lead vocal 👍 and all the backups. I love you guys all. Downloaded and converted to mp3 already as I can't find it on boom play. Now I have a track to put on repeat.
Can't stop my tears of JOY running down my cheeks. Can someone plse share the lyrics of this song here so that non Yoruba speaking people can praise God too. And yes I am Igbo & Catholic but this guy and this Choir deserve great thanks for my "SONG OF THE YEAR". Great job brother with your awesome, powerful & melodious Choir. It's all about God❤

This song lives rent-free in my heart, head, and mind. I do not speak Yoruba nor do I understand Yoruba but when the Spirit of God speaks, language is not a barrier. I am grateful for life, health, family, and importantly for knowing God. Thank you @Apex Choir and @Minister Kent Ebunjobi, more grace and anointing in Jesus' name, Amen.
I feel you because i get the same feeling not only for those song. Language is not a barrier when the holy spirit moves. I'm a Yoruba woman and i get the holy spirit moves me whenever i play Sis. Chinyere Udoma, Pure Praise, "Come and see what the Lord has done for me" track even though i don't understand a word of Igbo language. I listen to it every time without getting tired of it. I'm so glad for how the Holy Spirit has been moving the church of Christ in Nigeria and believers and even non-Christians everywhere through the wings and flow of this Divine music, I mean every song in this video! It's like the river of life opened up to overflow in a new dimension! 🤩 I'm a DL member too. And, I'm blessed to have God's sons and daughters who worship Him in the CCC in my life! 😍🙌🏽
I am not a celestial member, am a Redeem member but this song cut across begin a Redeem member, celestial or even Religion. This song is a blessing to this generation
In the last 4 weeks of discovering this song, i must have played it like 100 times. What of Ona Ara, and Saanu mi? This choir is great. The music is divine. My household has fallen in love with it.
I play lead guitar and I worship in a RCCG ....This song is inspiring. I saw it on a friend's status and I had to come check it here.. the consistency of the back up Singers, the arrangements and intro, the lead singer etc.. these is very much professional 👏. To see that this is even live and it more like a studio work 👏
Seriously, i don't even know what to say about this song-EBENEZER because it's more than a song words can describe. It's divine. I am really blessed by the song. Hallelujah.
As a chorister, I can say this can only come by inspiration. This song is a great message to some of our choirs today who want to sing Naira M.....ly to gain the youths in their own thinking. You can win anyone with good gospel music backed by the holy spirit.
That brother in 16 : 35-37 is the MVP in this video . Who agrees with me that he brings so much genuine joy into this video without holding a microphone . Every choir has this sort of inspirational member. Do u agree?

The Lead singer, Kent, released himself and let the music flow out of him. This is just a pure praise with undiluted melody. God is indeed in this. Worthy is the Lamb.
I was watching on tv but had to come to your live mobile to see if someone would speak about the lead. I was sure I knew him from somewhere. Anikulapo Kent
And because of this he and Apex choir has been introduced to the world…your gifts will bring you before kings and princes… more anointing everyone involved in this transformational and redemptive song. Iba fun Eledumare indeed we are grateful for how far you have brought us and your watchful eyes over us…thank you Lord we are grateful…thank you evangelist Ebenerzer Obey Fabiyi as well for your song Iba fun eledumare…
The most beautiful thing about this song is that all the songs are originally composed songs, not the recycled praise songs we see around these days. I love this so much! Congratulations to Kent Edunjobi and the Ketu CCC Choir.
I’m from Florida I listened to this I’ll say at least 50x. The song is so good I can’t stop repeating it. That guy leading is a good leader and has a good voice
What melts my heart is the Pastor or Shepherd jumping, singing and enjoying the song! I can imagine how much that will encourage the choir, other leaders and members in general. And what a show of conviction to the prophectic declaration in that part of the song...❤❤ After seeing the song and the video blow up world wide, Im sure those standing unmoved and watching will now wish they could have at least danced a bit😂😂
You got it Exactly my thoughts those that are sitting even when Kent was saying (e de dide jo now) yet some of them don't stand. Now they will be like, and I would have dance ooo 😝😂😂😂
I am an idoma lady, but the love I have for the yorubas and their songs is just beyond me. I don't understand the song but there is this peace I feel when ever I listen to this song. Kudos to Kent and the apex choir👍👍👍👍
I am a Yoruba lady and wish you could see my status update on WhatsApp, where I just professed my undying love for the Idoma language, I guess we have a thing in common. I think your language is "delicious" 😇
That is one of the characteristics of a good music. It breaks through culture, language, tradition or race. Even if you don't understand the language, you will still feel message.
I'm an Iṣẹsè enthusiast but this song is lyrically inspiring and instrumentally creative. Highlife defines our true aesthetic worth as West Africans.

I agree with you, I am not a member of CCC but I stumbled across this song since yesterday. I couldnt stop playing it. I even played in my class today while the students are on coffee break. Unfortunately I dont understand Yoruba, my wife tried to translate some of the wordings to me. I must confess, they truly represented, not just CCC but NIgeria. I am so proud of this choir. One of my students was stunned as to how they played without music notes. And I told her these people playing there did not attend any music school. She said truly, Africans are closer to God than them (whites) because we are talented and strong.
The fact that I am not a Yoruba person still baffles pple......cos how I so much love this song ehn I can't even explain....so tey Dem don know me for my Church.God bless Apex Choir🙏

As a Cele talking drummer turn Software Engineer, I can tell the lead singer is a producer, and an instrumentalist coupled with those badass instrumentalists and percussionist.
I was born into Roman Catholic and later converted to Deeper Life Bible Church, but i fell in love with this song, i play it everyday before living house in the morning and also before going to bed at night, i think i will sew a garment specially for this song, to dance to the song better. Smiles, i remain Christ advocate. may Oshofa soul rest in peace, long live Pastor W F Kumuyi and God bless Catholics and the Pope were my faith in Christ begin.

God is moving into the Nigerian Church again. I have not seen a choir perform so powerfully since the C&S days in the 90s. This is powered by the Holy Spirit from the beginning to the end. I pray our gospels singers will continue to seek God for each song before they go to the studio. Our message is the Gospel of Jesus and not just good music. Thank you to Apex Choir and its leadership for such a blessing wrapped in a song. I am greatly blessed.
I'm still here in September 2023 to give praise to God for EVERYTHING he has done! Some songs are written while some are GIVEN! Every single song on this piece was surely given. God bless Kent Edunjobi and the entire team for yielding to God. God bless and keep us all till He comes!

God helped them to do a good job
I’m non white garment, but I give it to them when it comes to praise and worship. No Christian denomination can compete with them. I also love that their praise is organic.
ORGANIC is the appropriate word👍🏼
