I went from "Who the hell is this Boilon guy" to subscriber! Your videos go great with my morning coffee when I get ready to go to work! I have learned a lot from you even as a launch player. Keep up the great work!
It is fine being a bit behind on these returning events since we can build up slowly until the final day, and then run it. Initial character release events are much more important since we practically need to be fully committed from start to finish at acceptable point.
I believe you'll have 5-days for this, so as long as you're aware of who you should be building towards this :)

Biggest issue I'm having is the second City Villain node with the Horsemen + Apoc. Was using Black Cat/GGC/Kraven/DocOck/Lizard 670K total power and I just get shredded in Difficulty 7+. Thinking I might need to bring Mysterio or Vulture as lizard just isn't doing much.
Edit: Turns out vulture was the secret ingredient I was missing character changed the entire match completely
Mysterio and Vulture both are VERY good. For this trial Lizard isn't really needed, and in fact he was released after this entire trial the first time around lol.
on the first pass of the Green Goblin Classic trial, I tried D5 and failed. Don't have Rebirth or New Avengers built, so I had to run D4 with some scourges, and unlocked GGC after the rank reward payout.
still feel the required teams are not needed for my account, and not worth building, so I expect the same challenge this time.

Since I missed first go and just recently unlocked tigra, sunspot, lizard, and do not have a built up sin 6 outside of doc Oc, don't have a built cyclops, Pegasus, or the other new avengers, and do not even have black cat, kraven, or iron man IW... Gonna be a challenge. I just want to unlock him so I can not build him. I'll just continue finishing up Psyloche as she is last character I need at the gear tier for big Apoc and work on new bio raid team. Maybe work on GGC after the level up event or when I think I have plateaued. I do not have more than like 10 characters at level 95 and probably only another 20 at even 90. Quitting for months, gold still sucks.
Seems like you are in no way will be competitive in this game for the forseeable future. Just relax and enjoy the game.
I mean you can use characters not on my recommended list for lower difficulty, these are just the ones I would focus on towards that High D7 range, and obviously the most meta are the most important.
Ya, I am not too concerned. it will be a year at least before I get up to being where I was before at the very least. Why I am building Void Knight and Gwenom first and then Red Goblin. Then pivot to Nightcrawler and/or Forge or whoever else is coming out in the next patch more likely. I enjoy your big spreadsheet though so I know who I can get more value out of for these events though.
@Boilon you said that list are recommendation for low to mid tier players. So do you recommend building up xtremexmen for low/mid tier players? For my point of view they are not worth it. Yeah they are great team but for those who have not got Apo they have to build unlimited first and also for those who don't do higher lvl incursion raids xtreme are not needed. So building xtreme don't give you one more team coz it break unlimitedx team they are worth only like top 10% of players. SO my opinion even thought they are great team they are kind trap for most of players. Or what you think?
I recommend Extreme X-Men for all players. Assuming you have them unlocked (which you will once the passes go through if you don't already) then this is a high priority build. They are more than just a raid team as they're great in other game modes.
Apoc IMO is not a top priority for 'low to mid tier players' but this definition might vary so if you want a more personal answer feel free to DM me with your roster progress.

is rebirth good for this event though? i have had them built for a while but idk if they can clear it on difficulty 4-5
Rebirth can get it done, you just may need to invest in them more than you'd like.
Depends how high. It depends what your goal is as well. If rebirth is all you have then use it, but New Avengers will carry you further at a lower team power because they're newer and stronger.

I'm a newish player and am level 65 so is it possible to unlock him even at lowest possible star
It might be challenging, you would need to score 425k+ . It might be too early for you at this stage but I would try to push as much as you can at whatever maximum difficulty and that way next time you for sure will.
What do you recommend for scourges??

D7 all scourge was pretty easy for me so I went to D8 but one of the nodes is only new avengers and I don’t have them built yet and not much gold either so I’m stuck🥲
