Would have liked to have seen some detail on the transitions and how that supposed to be working. You pasted in a bunch of transition IDs, but didn't show how they were being used

Do you need special permissions to see transition ID? I do not see this in the Integration screen and when I test settings it says Connection failed, check your settings.

New Branch is necessary to link commits?

Hi, I'd like to see the commits & branches in Jira ticket.
What Plan should I use for this functionality? (we have self-hosted GitLab)
    Thank you in advance!

hi, have you found the necessary information to do this? I'm also looking for this approach on how it will be done in Jira (self-hosted)->GitLab (self-hosted). Appreciate any info on this. Thank you!

Obsolete, this does not work anymore... please provide a solution for the newer version of gitlab

Nice video, especially because you focus on the CE edition of Gitlab, which is somewhat less documented in youtube tutorials.
I would like to ask, what did you actually needed the integration IDs for? You haven't used them in gitlab. Also i see here: th-cam.com/video/t0_52j2Zp2I/w-d-xo.html that those IDs can be "templated" across different projects. What does that actually mean and how is it achieved?
Besides it, is it possible to link gitlab issues to Jira? Or that would simply be useless?
    Thanks a lot

Does this basic integration works with self-managed gitlab CE + Jira Enterprise also self-managed (server) ?
Totally unclear what is free in this combination!

i done it for self-managed (CE) today and it works.

@@luckylefti are you sure that talking about basic integration? In my latest self managed gitlab (with self managed jira!) this feature market as "premium" in repository settings.
From another side I was able to setup development panel.

@@luckylefti we linked both selfhosted server here but i cant see commits in the jira issues (developer panel) but i can link from gitlab to the referring issue. What are we missing for the developer panel??

This tutorial is obsolete, as of gitlab 14 there will be no service templates...
