I've been playing this all day today. I never tire of it, for some reason. I would like to learn more about it. Who is singing? Is it recorded music? Are the lyrics posted somewhere? What is the name of the dancing group? Where is this all taking place in the video? Thank you very much for any information you can provide.
Here’s the lyrics for your perusal. Don’t forget that all the words are pronounced as in Latin. The Bus Song 1. Hi there Lisamarie, the name of the song is, Ti na waaki. I have been so busy working, and forgotten to ask around if anyone knows the lyrics. Please do not give up on me, I shall continue the search. Do you have a Kiribati connection, and where are you from?
Hmm? Interesting. Kiribati is a place I am interested in due to how little is generally known about it around the world. I am mainly interested in its history.
Hi netgk1, this was taken in New Zealand in a little town called Otaki North of Wellington. It was during the Anniversary celebrations of Bishop Paul Mwea from Kiribati. So sorry for the late reply. Tom
Many thanks Tom. I'm still nuts about this music. It's sad that their islands are being swallowed up by rising sea levels. I'm doing everything I can here in the US to fight the fossil fuel industry that is causing it.
