The "BERSERKER" scream is Anton who plays guitar and does additional vocals, he founded the band and also founded his previous band Battle Beast. The name Beast in Black is probably play on Anton who got kicked out of Battle Beast and the returned, "The Beast is Back"
Not sure if anyone's told you about BIB but a lot of their songs pay tribute to the manga/anime Berserk. This song is no exception. F*cking awesome band.
this song is an absolute banger. i highly recommend blind and frozen by the same band, hes got a killer voice. yannis papadopoulos is the singer, he actually does some nightwish covers on his youtube channel. id recommend, of those covers, listening to sahara by nightwish (live in tampa) followed by his cover of it. its madness.
I discovered this band in a similar way. I was listening to another band’s album and TH-cam autoplayed “From Hell with Love” by Beast in Black (the full album) and my jaw hit the floor. I realized the best 80’s power metal album dropped in 2019!
The art for this is guts fighting the beast of darkness. His shadow self after what happened to him all of his emotions manifested in his mind into the demonic dog you see. He constantly has to fight off his urges to go absolute berserk when he fights.
So glad you found them. BiB is absolutely amazing for that homage-to-the-eighties feel and Yannis sings like the genetic culmination of Rob Halford and Ronnie James Dio. Yes.
I felt exactly like you when I first heard of BiB. They are one of my favourite bands nowadays. I've seen them live ones before the pandemic started.( Born Again ) ( From Hell Whit Love ) and( Die Bye The Blade ) are good songs.
