I saw this movie as a kid growing up on V H S over and over again. One of my favorites underrated af
To be fair it has a huge following now and is considered pretty good to great by most people. There was even talk of a remake not to long ago.
Man, can you imagine if they made a sequel or a reboot today with Arnold in it? Now that would be a movie to see
I think they [Studio] hire Director again to refinished a real director cut's version that could be posible.

Underrated and underappreciated. So good that it could have been longer, with a bigger budget and more villains brought in before the final boss - played by Charles Dance 👍👍 Awesome soundtrack, with a brilliant placement of "Angry Again", by Megadeth. Let the credits roll, to enjoy Two Steps Behind (acoustic & strings version), by Def Leppard.

I went to watch this film in the theater with my dad while everyone else was watching some dumb film about a Dino Amusement park. They didn't know what they were missing.

A 4K preview in 1080p. How revolutionary. I almost felt like I got sucked into the movie myself, just like Danny Madigan.

I remember seeing this on MTV movies and their comercials non-stop. The special effects where on that moment the best on the market, crazy story, spoofing, commenting and very funny. Great 90's movie.

Don't know why Arnold is saying people are just now starting watch it and he's getting feedback from it. Obviously it flopped back then for whatever reason. Regardless, that film was absolutely brilliant several years ago. Don't know when I exactly first watched it myself, but I'm in my 40s and I was a kid back when... ..Anyways, has been one of my all-time favorite movies, among the ones I always rewatch when they come out from the TV
I just love that during the end credits of Jack Slater III, we can hear the theme song by Tesla as "Jack Slater!" instead of "Last Action Hero!"

This film must have been a blast to make and the prop department must've had a wild time setting all this up. The sheer amount of police cars to a ridiculous level, the shotgun gun absolutely covered in a shotgun shells wearing a shotgun shell vest. Honestly this is actually fully well done parody and satire of action movies, without being too obvious and over-the-top like "epic movie". It's a parody with class.
this movie BOMBED, but in retrospect it was a well made high IQ self reflexive fun movie. not Arnolds best, but a good quality movie for sure.

Music so good in this scene. Especially with "This one can." Only thing I would've changed is hold the scene longer when the axe is throne. It ends too abruptly and almost seems boring because of it. No wonder Jurassic Park squashed it. No substance here.
