- Authentic WEST AFRICAN FOOD || Eating Waakye + CANOE making / road trip
We travelled to Cape Coast which is the capital of the central region
our road trip was marvellous as we tried a very popular Ghanaian food called Waakye.
we also had the chance to try coconut .
we visited the canoe makers in Cape Coast and showed us how they make these beautiful canoes.

Your videos superb ❤❤❤
Taty! I am late to commenting, and this was another excellent video🔥🔥🔥! Really loved how, you chronicled the start of the journey to Cape Coast, the eating of the waakye, some shots of the Cape Coast castle and ended with the canoe making process🏰📷. As for the waakye and how our local foods are prepared and consumed is simply the best🥣. At times the sauce is not even needed. The shito you cannot do without, and there must be meat or egg added. I do not like noodles added to my waakye. The route from Accra to Cape Coast can be laden with heavy traffic🚗🚘, but it appears you guys avoided that. The castle is an emotional draw for many, and of the painful kind. The canoe🛶 making was fascinating and a lot was learnt. A single canoe can go for $8,000 was an eye opener. Quite labor intensive to construct an entire canoe. Glad it creates jobs for the youth and community. For another day, it will be interesting to speak to fisherfolk on the process of fishing and sending to market. As always great video, keep up the good work, and we are here for all your content!
Aaaba!! Put the spoon down. 😢, old fashion 😊 ✋🏾 🥘

Noted
Tatiana pls try and make a video on large scale fish farming. Tilapia and Catfish to be precise. I will really appreciate it. ❤.
Noted 🥰
Yummy 😋
Sister Tati, please come to winneba
Great video! I wondered how they made the fishing boats. That’s smart to hollow the tree to make the bottom instead of making it with planks. Do they paint them for the customers also?
❤️❤️
That food looks so delicious! What song is that playing in the background while they're eating the food? I Keep hearing it but I don't know what it's called.
