- In todays video, I open the Topps Chrome Champions League hobby box and hit a massive Gold Lava parallel!
So a few weeks after the flagship product dropped, I now have my hands on the new chrome product to show you all! It features the same players as the flagship product, but in the chrome design! 🤩
The Topps Chrome Champions League set contains 200 base players as well as plenty of inserts including Golazo and Future Stars! Not only that, it includes over 20 different parallel variants of each card! 🤯
I have to say, this is the BEST product I have opened this year and I am so excited to open another box for you! If you are interested, these are available on the Topps UK site for £240! 🔥🔥

This collection gives me mixed feelings, the cards are really nice looking and there are a lot of parallels, but it seems to me that it is too centered on rookies. I’ve seen also in other unboxings a lot of Cole Palmers, a lot of Hannibals, Elangas etc. The Match Attax Topps Chrome seemed better for someone who wants to collects cards of present stars, not hypotethical future stars.
Any opinion on this topic?

It’s a mixed bag for me - I think the design on these cards is fantastic; best this year for me! However it comes with a. crazy numbers of parallels meaning the chances of a ‘hit’ are low. Whereas your guaranteed a fair few numbers parallels per box with the Match Attax Chrome!
So in my opinion, the Match Attax Chromes are better for collectors due to cost and variance - however aesthetically these cards look better!
They sell these because the majority of people who open this set's understand pretty much zero of the sport and it's a speculative bubble.

Are speckled refractors better than normal refractor?
Hi Will! You are spot on, speckled refractors are slightly rarer than the standard refractor!
Nice thanks for that I pulled gold speckled Gavi /50 out of my box which I opened earlier, I’m currently trying to find out what it sells for but I can’t find one which has sold anywhere 🤷♂️
@@willav8063 that Gavi is an incredible pull mate, congratulations! If it’s /50 that means it’s the gold mini diamond parallel as opposed to a speckle!
You’ll likely struggle to see prices at the moment because the set is so new! Gavi is the must sought after rookie card this year so definitely worth holding onto! I’ve got a /10 from the Merlin set that I’m sending off for grading!
@@BlazeyCollects oh yeah I’ve just looked and it is the mini diamond parallel😂 just looks very similar to speckle, I wasn’t planning on selling but just looking for a price out of genuine interest. /10 that’s incredible, very jealous!
