Die-hard fan here. In case you've never heard this I want to share a link to a little known live concert performance from her 1986 world tour (her first, at the age of 22) It's a cover of the Dreamgirls song "I AM CHANGING" (originally sung by Jennifer Holiday in the broadway play)
Whitney takes it a TOUR DE FORCE level that even the original singer (with all due respect) couldn't do. It is easily the most powerful, brilliant thing she's ever done on the live stage. Quite possibly the most amazing live vocal performance ever captured on audio.
For 10 minutes straight she unleashes the FULL WEIGHT and volume of her powers (and she is in her prime) It is truly a marvel and I can't believe it's real and LIVE. She takes her time in the beginning but when the rocket takes off, you'll be stunned in amazement at what you're hearing.
