The fact that this kind of scandals are hurting woman general rights is very bad. South Korea politics are more to popularity stuff, none of them are willing to go fully hearted in changing the nation's well being. This is a very bad democracy, probably even worst, a lawless country where the rich and the powerful exploiting the poor and the weak.
Honestly, knowing how these cases play out in the Korean justice system, will the perpetrators really get the punishment they deserve? I mean, the Korean Justice system seems so lax to me. I know proper punishment is subjective but these people never seem to get the time in jail you would think they should get, given the atrocities of their crimes. 🤷🏻♀️
It's really ironic when I hear from Koreans on how the United States has their justice system being "too harsh" when we think it's not enough as well. I realized overtime that when it comes to sex crimes; the justice system is often thrown out the window.
Thank you for the update. I wish to add that no country’s justice system isn’t without its faults, always a work in progress. The US is a prime example where we know quite well that even if there are laws in place, the number of ways to circumvent with technicalities is mind boggling. And we also know that the elite are not exposed to the same “justice system” as minorities or the poor. So we should not single out South Korea or any other country.
ok? its true no country’s justice system isn’t without its faults but we're talking about South Korea now and this criticism is fair... i really hate this argument where whenever someone criticizes a country then yoU or someone else immediately points to the US. are we not allowed to criticize South Korea’s justice system because other country’s justice system are as bad? does that make it ok? is the US the standard for everything? the answers to all those questions are no, we should single out injustice wherever you see it, it doesn't matter how worse or the same it is somewhere else...that is how change or revolution comes about, nothing changes if everyone thinks like you. random thought don't you think its a problem when the past 3 presidents of a country are in prison for corruption?

Here's what I'd say, about trying to link the burning sun scandal to to previous conservative government, that's most likely true. No other reason for the congress man to meet Kim Sang Kyo if not for political leverage. About Kim Sang Kyo being pressured, quite possible but hard to prove. It's still not out of the ball park though. It's after this that it goes haywire, it's possible that he tried to inform the government about telegram chat rooms like the n'th room and wasn't listened too, but why this would mean that Kim Sang Kyo would be in trouble if the progressive party should win the election beats me, if that was the case he'd have already been in trouble by now so it makes no sense at all. That's just fishing for attention and smear tactics which isn't uncommon in north east asian politics to begin with. This throws everything else he's said into question in my opinion.
Why have you used Seungri's picture AGAIN when he has no link to Nth Room.and has no link to Burning Sun? The only Burning Sun scandal is related to Kim Sangkyo who made up a scandal to cover his sexual harassment and has now been INDICTED for sexual crimes after testimonies by his victims.
Exactly...they have been riding Seungri from the beginning as a fall guy...and are pretending it's not what they're doing. Why would scouter use Seungri's pic, why in this presentation did he not mention Kim Sankkyo's sexual indictment?
@@shauniek very suspicious. I unsubscribe. This is not a reliable source as Koreans living in Korea are often victims of propaganda.
