You guys have really changed my life for the better. When I feel like evil is taking over me I either read my Bible or watch your skits and know my life is important.
This made the Resurrection pop off the page for me! After hearing the story time and again in the rather blasé tones of reiteration of many churches, you get almost immune to it. This reminds us that they were real people with real emotions. And that the joy of the Resurrection is like none other! Thank you and God Bless!

What the video expresses: At first there comes the thought that someone might have stolen the body, then they realize that Jesus has risen like he said he would. It hits them that that just happened. Seriously, it happened. They've just witnessed the miracle of their lives. Jesus did it! And they are filled with sudden intense joy.
Thats right but thats not the point behind it. The point is the HE LIVES he has Risen. This leaves it open for an awesome sermon to explain how it really went and why he did what he did. Again Your right thats not how it happened but HE LIVES....
It has to do with the Jewish custom in which if a master is done with a meal or done at the table he would crumble his napkin. However if he was taking a break and planned on coming back he would simply fold the napkin. Jesus' head covering was folded indicating that he was coming back. Any Jewish boy would have known the symbolism just as John and Peter did. ( He also didnt crumble the napkin at the Last Supper) just saying.
They were laughing because they remembered that Jesus said "destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days."-John 2:19. The non-believers in Christ at that time said "it has taken 46 years to build this temple, and you say you are going to raise it in three days?"-John 2:20. They didn't realize that Jesus was talking about his body. So thats why they were laughing :)
Sorry to ruin it but that is not even close to how it happened. And they didn't even register that Christ rose from the dead until He appeared to them. Anyways...
