Idk I smelled both but some how I prefer Afnan Olmeda. It’s very unique like Joy mentioned. I get easily 8-9 hours with 7-10 sprays. If you stay away from the heat, it will last even longer. Very dark yet blue 😅
Dark to the extent that it cant be worn to the gym for example?
@nicolasfarah2092 if you don't use too many sprays, yes, you can wear to gym. It's not a typical gym scent though.

Very nice scent. Last a long time on my skin and days on clothes. I have let it sit and macerate for a month. Let's see how this blue beast has improved!! 👍🔥👌
My Iconic doesn't last that long unfortunately and that came as a surprise since this is an Armaf. Smelt Olmeda recently at the Afnan store and it felt very similar so I didn't buy it but the longevity isn't the best either😅

😲 Wow... That very surprising. My bottle is a beast. It last a long time on my skin and days on clothes. It has set and macerated for over a month now. I will see if it has improved even more. Two questions for you..
Have you let it macerate for awhile and where did you buy it from. I believe that makes a difference. That's my opinion!!

@@jaybowie6529 will do. Thanks for the suggestion. Pretty sure I bought the original though with the huge Armaf box. It says Batch #375670 on the base of the bottle (had to use my phone camera lens and zoom to read it 😃) and production date 11/2022. Btw I think Joy should make a comparison video between Iconic and Afnan 9 am Dive. Very similar DNA. Try to get your nose on that one. I'm on the fence and may pull the trigger and cop it up soon. I'm crazy about these fresh scents.
in PH, shogun is half the price of iconic. For a student like me, shogun all the way. But if you have the budget go for the Iconic, better overall

i came to see the review because im not such a big fan of bleu de chanel but wanted to see what you say about afnan . i got a sample when i purchased a bottle of perfume and i have to say im really impressed with it to be honest ! its unique strong fresh . nice one , thanks for the comparison

I never cared to own BDC, in any capacity. Maybe, it's because I felt like everybody owned it. Perhaps, I will try Iconic. I enjoy Olmeda, for what it is. I have mine macerating, currently. It's still kind of cold, here, at night. You may have convinced me to at least try Iconic, but that will be after I buy a bottle of Prada Amber, before it dries up. I appreciate you, for your commitment to content! There are so many fragrances I have leaned on you, for an opinion for, before buying. It helps to have insight.

Definitely iconic. Afnan 9am is only like 50% BdC, other 50% is like PR invictus legend

What are your thoughts on Issey Miyake Bleu Astral? I've heard it's a deep darker interesting blue fragrance with leather. Sounds intriguing.

Historic Olmeda IS NOT AT ALL a clone of Bleu de Chanel. Not at all. I got it as a bday gift…not sure I like it at all. And I love Bleu de Chanel.

Armaf has the worst bottles ever. Embarrassed to present in my collection. They need to change the bottles. The stupid chain with round coin is dumb
Agreed man. It's soooo ugly and I imagine they would save money by taking the stupid chain and gems out.
