True. It is not east to raise children and work outside. This ad actually spreads the wrong message putting unnecessary pressure on women. Someone has to sacrifice when women work outside. It's not only a mother's duty to look after her kid. It is also the father's equal duty to take care of his child. Taking care of a child should be equally distributed. Not only "she" can carry both. If she can, then definitely "he" can also carry both. Cooking food, cleaing the house, washing dishes, washing clothes... all these can be done by men also. It is not a duty, it's called discipline!

I am a homemaker and I am proud to be that..... Working at home is much more challenging than working in any field. And u am proud to be mother of two beautiful girls. When I see them and their positive growth I feel very proud of myself. When a child does something wrong people say " kya maa ne yahi sikhaya hai?". So being a mother is a job which needs no qualification, with positive attitude you will make your child the best person in the world. You may understand the physical and mental pain a women goes through just because she is having difficulty in conceiving. I would love to be a mom. But a healthy mom and not out of compulsion. I only have one observation from this is that we should stop glorifying motherhood. Motherhood is a choice. It should not be forced upon someone.
Loved the premise and emphasis that "women can do it all" but once again the corporate woman is vilified for choosing to not have children. The real "inclusion" is when females respect each others' choices. The woman herself has the final say because it's about her life and her body. It sure is *amazing* to juggle home and work but it shouldn't be glorified so much that the women who have made a choice are excluded. The slogan for this year's international women's day is #BreaktheBias and this advertisement is anything but unbiased. :(

Comment section says a lot. All men raving about this ad and most women disliking it. It’s not about fake feminism. Physically women might be carrying the child but technically the responsibility is of both. So both the partners should be willing to carry the responsibility if chosen to do so.

The question "what is there to manage" makes it clear. There is a lot to manage. For people with privilege of money, parents, etc can take care of their children when parents are on duty. I'm brought up by a mother who started her day at 3:30 and slept at 12:30 and had to travel 280kms a day which was my parents' choice which I never consider inspiring but an act done out of financial necessity which I won't be choosing. I have faced many issues in adolescence due to lack of parental care and support. And the question what is there to manage is coming out of utter ignorance and the proud walk of the SSP is because of social, financial privileges.

But what is it with the mentality that if a model or any career oriented woman doesn't want to give birth a baby, she is a villain/ not needs to be appreciated? Why do we as a society have to convince or force woman to have a baby? What if SHE doesn't want? Isn't it's about her life and her choices too? Yes. It should be left to woman whether she wants to carry a baby or not. And that is the exact message shown in this ad. The ad includes both the situations. The woman who chose career and the women who chose both career and children. The model girl decided after listening and observing both the parties. She wasn't pressurised, she was inspired. The message behind the ad is only to support and empower women that if she wants #SheCanCarryBoth. This ad in no way villain-ised the women who chose career only. This is just to tell that a baby won't hamper your career growth (if you want it).

The ad is actually problematic in an attempt to be empowering. Being a mother is sure great, but it isn't for everyone. We should respect people's choices. A woman can choose if she wants to have a child or not. For some, it might be difficult to manage to be a parent and focus on their career or it might not be a priority to have a child. Yes, she can carry both but she doesn't necessarily have to. Doing both doesn't make anyone superior. Everyone succeeds in their own way based on their priorities. And also being a homemaker isn't an easy job. While it aims at breaking stereotypes, it reaffirms the stereotype that being a person who manages the home is not "actual work" to be considered as another job.

And about life (i will be 29 this year) whatever the experience I have (maybe not enough idk) i would say sometimes things happen and sometimes we need to make them happen if we become reluctant to play our role at the required time they might never happen and it hearts when we think about it that i had a chance but I made no effort to get there or wasn't ready for the change.
