Cristiano Ronaldo was seen in tears as Al Nassr lost to Al Hilal on penalties in the 2024 King’s Cup final. The Portuguese star scored his spot-kick, but it wasn’t enough to take home the title.
Following a 1-1 draw after 120 minutes, the game went to penalties to decide the winner. Ronaldo took the second shot for Al Nassr after Alex Telles missed, but Al-Nemer’s miss in the seventh attempt sealed their fate.Ronaldo and his Al-Nassr team-mates started the game as the better side, as they looked to stamp their authority on the 2023-24 Saudi Pro League winners. However, the dominance was short-lived, after Al-Hilal's Aleksandar Mitrovic peeled off to the back post to head the opener past David Ospina.
Cristiano Ronaldo turned back the clock with an outrageous overhead goal attempt against Al-Hilal in the Saudi King's Cup final on Friday. The effort came in the 46th minute, with the Knights of Najd trailing 1-0.
