About the topic of TH-cam becoming more high quality videos like MrBeast: In German TH-cam there is someone (Fritz Meinecke) who started a video series called "7 vs Wild" where 7 popular influencers are sent to a jungle island in the Panamas each on their own with up to 7 survival items and they film themselves with go-pros. Each episode is 1-1.5 hours and looks like a TV production. Must have been super expensive but it seems like every German who uses TH-cam watches or at least has heard of this series. It's absolutely crazy and I love it!
As a Melee player, it hurts so much. Not only how many times Nintendo has hurt out scene since 2007, I was so sad that the two circuits were canceled because of the negative connotations it has for Smash as a whole, but also Melee had like the best storyline of 5 people competing for the #1 spot, and at this point it seems like #1 is already set in stone and the circuits being canceled is the reason for that. I'm at least glad the community came together as a whole to boycott Panda Cup Finale. Before it was pushed back, 20 Melee players and 11 Ultimate players who were qualified for the Finale had dropped out, even iBDW who was a Panda player said he wouldn't go. It makes me glad that so many people were willing to give up so much money because of the love they have for their games and not wanting it to die by supporting Panda

I would love to see a video game of the Pro Bending Battles from Legend of Korra you play in teams of 3 with your friends or just tournament/franchise by yourself and you can level up your bending and each element has its own play style so you and your friends can each have something they like. Then have 3v3 matches online kind of like rocket league and its like a fast paced fighter I feel like if a company could figure out how tomake this well it would sell because everyone who likes ATLA or LOK would be all over it. Then make passes for different skins and styles don't make it pay to win just cosmetic things

They tried to run two circuits, pulled out of one and the smash community started shooting each other in the foot and now we have no circuits. People are mad at panda cause again, panda is a company and business is just business. So panda snuffed out other companies “SWT” out of their circuits and has been big sticking the competition, that’s literally just good business. Like this is the world we live in. Plus if you asked me, if we had one main hub of smash which could of been “Panda” it would of made smash more legit and official. I’m just saying people aren’t looking at this from a business perspective and only looking at this personally. Yes as a smash player more circuits = more better. But everybody being Karen’s about how companies run their business then companies are not going to want to sponsor the competitive scene. They only licensed the panda circuit, and SWT had applied for a license this year, but canceled the SWT finale because Nintendo didn’t give them a license. The large problem ppl have with Nintendo and Alan respectively are that, Nintendo has and still does make it EXTREMELY difficult to work with them when it comes to smash. It’s so difficult to get a license and this has been happening with them since the beginning of melee. The problem with Alan is that he was very rude and tried strongarming a ton of grassroots events that others started to join the panda circuit, basically taking the event and the money from the person who started it. I do agree with you that one circuit is much better for the scene and this whole thing might end up being a blessing in disguise. Also agree that the community is way too toxic when it comes to these things

Nintendo might of never saw a large enough profit or following in competitive smash to stick their names on the line to license smash tourneys. I would like to believe the reason they were trying to this year is cause how big streaming is and the money to be made from it and also the competitive scene has been growing since lockdown. So in my eyes they tried, they dropped one cause either “Panda” push them out, or maybe just Nintendo saw or projected that the profit wouldn’t be large enough to support two circuits. In the end SWT cried when they got dropped and put the blame on the surviving company and turn the people on them. When in reality panda did what business’s do, survive or die. Like I said it’s not pretty but good business never is.
