@andrewSPgaynor I don't know. I still sometimes get emotional listening to it so it's not just you! Something about this song just gets the heartstrings. I hope they play it at the orchestra
This had me emotional too. I love how breathtaking they made Gongaga, so I also attribute it to them giving some more love to Zack / Crisis Core. And that's a win for me
In my case it's because it hollers Zack to me: a happy, uplifting tune, with the drums on the background that give a playful tribal vibe. It's a free, sunny melody, a bit wild. Like Zack. I imagine him taking you for a stroll in the jungle, pointing at all the colourful flowers, the animals, climbing on the trees and jumping from branch to branch, collecting fruits to snack on.
I am really grateful that Gongaga and Cosmo Canyon Overworld themes were both incredible. Partly, because I had something to enjoy while I was pulling my hair out trying to find every damn world intel request in those regions lol
I find it to be such a great detail that as you gather more intel, more tracks are added to the music. Its things like these that make this game amazing.
You can FEEL the sheer emotions dripping from these notes. It is no surprise this song makes someone so easily emotional, it IS supposed to make you feel that way. Especially because someone familiar comes from this land, we all hold dear to our heart, and miss greatly. 💔 And not just that, I think this song PERFECTLY describes the hope for the nature. Those parts that are still not 'corrupted' by greedy human hand, growing in its full glory and living the best life the planet has to offer. Literally, it's like the music makes you feel connected to Gongaga in a way, even if it's just across the screen, and non-existent in real life.
Same! I was like ooooohh this go hard while doing the stank face. Hours of exploring the region and enjoying the soundtrack. Until I collected enough Intel, side stuff, and my jaw dropped when the 2nd version hit, instantly became my number 1 favorite soundtrack for this series. Shame no one did both versions on yt that I just had to share to y'all
First Impression to Gongaga region Man, The map is mind twister 😢 Then after realizing the theme "Oh my, It's fun to explore gongaga and got no problem for the map anymore 😂"

The Cat Sith or Cat Sidhe is a fairy creature from Celtic mythology, said to resemble a large black cat with a white spot on its breast. Some common folklore suggested that the Cat Sith was not a fairy, but a witch that could transform into a cat nine times
I love this soundtrack, because getting around this map is a nightmare with the music here😂. 2 questions I’m not anyone here can answer, but here goes anyway: 1. How did they decide that 2 versions of the same stage music was something that was going happen during the making of this game and 2. What on earth are the singers saying in the second version? This has to be one of the best music arrangements I’ve heard in quite a while, that’s video games and other mediums too. Great video, glad there’s someone who gave us 2 for the price of 1 essentially👍.
Is it me or this is the best soundtrack in the whole game?
Not just you, it is hands down the best track for this game
@@S1RCARNAG3this and bow wow wow
Its you
It's pretty strong
@@Cruxis_Angeli literally was thinking the same thing
I don't know why but when I first heard this song in the game, I started to cry.
How do you stop after the first time? It keeps happening to me 😅

You and I both, friend. I just walked around slowly in the jungle for a bit and took a break. Then after a couple of towers, the theme transformed!

The best part is that the music grows with chants as you get more region intel. Magical !

This theme sounds so beautiful and it also brings tears to my eyes because this theme touches my soul and spirit i love music like this❤
I was stoned when I got to this region. This track was so good I spent the next two hours exploring and ignoring the main mission just to vibe out
I find it to be such a great detail that as you gather more intel, more tracks are added to the music. Its things like these that make this game amazing.
Gongaga was a thing I didn't know I wanted the remake-series to expand on, but can't imagine the game without the jungle now! ❤
Never expected Zack's homeland is so beautiful

@ Oooh they sound great!
well done and thanks, I was looking for a mix like this
You welcome and same I was looking for both versions and no luck. I had to add both versions it's just so good
Hoping someone creates something like this for all regions
This is not a mix but a soundtrack yes.
@@EdgarCruz-yl8eh this is a mix between the North and the South areas...

I’m curious though, why only this one has that effect.

Good thing this slaps or I would’ve lost my mind when I got lost in Gongaga 😂
Been looking for this for a long time. Thanks a bunch
The beste Track in rebirth! Hope I’m not alone with that opinion 😅
I LOVE THIS TRACK OMG
It's the best in the game. It's like Far East and Celtic world music had a baby and I love it.
The second version is in the soundtrack, but the first version was not. I hope it will be in the plus soundtrack.
So eine tolle Musik in Gongaga. Ich liebe es. ❤❤❤
Agreed the whole soundtrack is amazing but gongaga easily takes number 1 spot for me
Eigentlich überall im Spiel! :-)
If VGA don't let FF rebirth win for bear score.. I get mad
Goosebumps when I first heard this

Bro! Give me that sun juice! That what it saying
The two choirs make think of this: The planet is a woman and we are all her children
I hated the Gongaga music when I first went there. I don't know why. Now I'm hooked and get like... emotional about them. Haha
Wait what is the other version
First version is without the voices, then once you start unlocking Intel you get the version from 2:50 onward.
