I wish they had just brought the full Sultry back. It was ahead of its time when it came out, but right now is the perfect time to put out a cool neutral palette. They would have made a killing, and people have been clamouring for it to come back for years.
The sultry palette seems like a perfect neutral color story. It’s just enough shades, not repetitive , and thus makes much more sense to me than the I Need a Nude palette. Allie you are an artist.I am always amazed at how quickly you create a stunning look!
I only recently got sucked into the world of high-end eyeshadows and bought my first palette (Modern Renaissance) this year. It's amazing how despite it's age, this palette is still so relevant towards makeup newbies like myself.
These look so cute!! But I have to say - as someone who has the OG Sultry, my favourite part is by far the cool pink colours (pearl, rose quartz and bloom) that the mini palette just doesn't feature. The mixing of silver and pink really just makes everything pop! Hope they bring back the original Sultry palette as well... but now I'm excited to finally explore Modern Renaissance ;)
The Mod Ren palette was my first non-drugstore eyeshadow palette purchase and I couldn’t believe how much I spent. I repurchased it with that holiday set they did a few years ago and then ended up passing it on to a friend, because I bought singles of my fave colors for the ABH magnetic quad. My fave shades you ask? Buen Fresco, Cypress Umber, and Vermeer.

I think your skin undertone is a cool winter! That's why you look good in silver eyeshadow and mauve brown. You should do the same sultry eyeshadow look with a bright red/pink lipstick 💄 🌷 the color tulip I personally was thinking a notch brighter than tulip but you get the idea.
I saw a new method of applying makeup: 1. Moisturizer, 2. Loose powder, 3. Setting Spray, 4. Primer, 5. Foundation and then the rest of your normal makeup. I've tried it and its my new method. Would love to see you try it!

I loved and still love the Sultry palette. When they were discontinuing it, I bought another one. That cyborg color is my most favorite. I would love it if Anastasia came out with a single shadow of that color. Can't wait to purchase the mini sultry palette.😊

I just tried my Ravie lippies while watching this and I love them! Great job Allie! They remind me so much of my overpriced chantecaille lip chics. I love the color and texture and the price! Edit: these look better on my lips than the chantecaille! I just tried them on side by side. Ravie looks smoother and more even.
I missed my chance to get the Sultry palette when it first came out, so I’m thrilled that now I’ll have a chance to try it out in this smaller version! If the mini modern renaissance had the lighter shimmer as well as primavera I probably would have gotten that too. That being said, I think they did a good job choosing the star shades for that palette.
Omg this is also bringing so much nostalgia for me! I have both palettes, still use them both. They are still so relevant, the quality is still amazing, and can we talk about that grey shade ''slate''? There is nothing like it, it's a grey that blurs out slightly mauve and it makes it blend with the skin so seamlessly! Such a beautiful shade.
Omg you used to use this pallet all the time! Also I got your Effortlessly 💋 LIPS! All 3 came yesterday! I love the brightest one the most 🌷? That one shows up well on my 💋 lips. Honestly, ABH doesn’t miss. I am obsessed with the highlighter. I’ve already purchased and used it too. The palettes make my makeup girlie heart sing. Love both of the OG’s and I will prob pick up the minis because duh. Also I think the palettes would make fantastic gifts/stocking stuffers. ❤

Those are great palettes to have minis of! But, modern renaissance, my favorite most used shimmers are Vermeer and Antique Bronze, and neither is in the mini! The shimmers they put in the mini were shimmers I didn’t ever use. Vermeer with the berries is a must! Oh well…..

Just received my Revie trio order! I opened them all and tested each color on my hand. I new I was really drawn to dahlia and put that one on. From someone who has year round chronically dry lips - this is everything I need and was missing. I always wear lip liner but wanted to see the true color. It’s perfect. I’m going to wait to try the other two to give myself something to look forward to. One thing for sure - my lipstick drawer is getting cleaned out. I now have everything I need. If I were to imagine a color I’d also love to see in your lipsticks in the future, I’d picture something in the brown family with maybe a touch of red. Thanks you so much for making Revie!
