I've got their adaptive rig system split rig setup. It's great. I put pouches from varusteleka, spiritus, 8492nylonworks, and maxpedition on it. Gfg was super responsive to my questions and got me my stuff right away.
I think this is a great deal for a first rig. In today’s troubled times, add in Bidenomics where people are buying Ramen by the case, this is a great idea for someone who is coming to the realization that they might need something like this when and/or if SHTF. My nephew is a college student who pays for his college, apartment, doesn’t take “Gubmnt” money. When he isn’t at school, he teaches the martial arts, door dashes and does day labor. Those folks might need something like this. The latter example has one issue that I see, when you look at the model, it looks like his biceps are rubbing up against the mags.

So I myself was skeptical with this stuff when I first saw it back in Like 2015/16 at Crye booth at Sh!t Show Ironically with Milspec Monkey. After 5/6 years or so of using it with various rigs/platforms ec, I can promise you, this stuff is nearly indestructible!! It is lighter and just as strong if not stronger than cordura. Plus it doesnt absorb water. Keeps stuff tough, cleaner and lightweight as it doesnt absorb sweat/swamp water, etc.
Cannot beat GFG on the modularity front, great prices too.
I've been thinking about how to make something extremely similar to this for about 4 months. Now I can stop thinking about it. This looks great.
Love the buttpack and inexpensive. Great for big out bags
Looks like a very good basic all in one. A good alternative to something like the lbt rigs at a cheaper entry price

I'm on the fence about this laser cut stuff. I know it's minimalist and light. It just doesn't look sturdy. It does look clean though.
