Deadass. We trade for Jrue and immediately win the championship. If that doesn't tell someone that swapping Jrue for Dame was a literal mistake then hope is lost for humanity 😭☘️☘️💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
I thought the Lakers debacle would benefit you guys. The picks you now have from the Bucks will make the Russell Wilson and Watson Trade look like amateur hour if it goes the way it might.
Khris Middleton's lowkey, EMBIID/Kawhi/Simmons-like behavior is completely overlooked. His contract extension is worse than Jrue's departure, Dame situation. They ONLY had to sell their soul because it cost them $100+ million for that Handicapped parking space for Middleton. Imagine playing 33 reg games and 5 playoff games in your contract year and getting a 3 year 100+ million dollar deal at 31+ years old PLAYER OPTION? There'd be no need for Taurean Prince or Rookie Jackson starting and averaging 0 points if Khris Middleton could play. Hell, Adrian Griffin might still be here without dumbly shelling out another 19 million to doc! Khris is getting paid more than the likes of Julius Randle and how much flack does the latter get? Would Giannis need to ball out 120%, risk injury, and ask for help and then max deal Dame costing the franchise another almost 200 mil, 63.2mil PLAYER OPTION on his age 37 season?! PLease shed some Isaiah Thomas tears for this dude. Every reason you just stated begins with Giannis, Jrue, Dame, Lopez, Doc, etc. etc. but ENDS with MIDDLETON INJURED. How much has Middleton actually cost them since that championship? All these irrational decisions caused by the desperation of trying to fill a role with pennies and bank loans because they blew all their dough on a WHEELCHAIR. We might think with recency bias that Middleton is more honorable than the rest of the overpaid bums of the league, but the RESULT is exactly the same - Street clothes and Guaranteed money. THE COMMON DENOMINATOR IS KHRIS MIDDLETON. Cmon!
they did not need more scoring adding lillard did nothing but take the ball out of giannis and others hands. jrue was a great defender and was top 10 in defensive win shares when they traded him. firing bud was a bad ideal. its hard to be a championship winning coach. the man deserves more respect than to think he can easily be replaced. alot of the problems are giannis's fault i agree there. he didnt want bud, he didnt want nurse, he wanted dame, he didnt like griffin. just another superstar that think they should be in the pilot seat for front office decision making.

has to be right? i mean objectively the bucks and the suns have gotten BETTER since 2021, and yeah there’s an argument to be had there, but the bucks got dame and the suns got kevin fucking durant, and since then the furthest either of these teams have gotten is a second round exit.
Every year there are injuries, can’t say that about the 2021 playoffs if you also don’t take into account all injuries in all other years during the playoffs
@@gibby-4532 the fact that there are injuries doesn't change the fact that the bucks and suns only made it that far because of said injuries, that fact still stands bucks got lucky and suns to lesser extent but I see your point injuries are apart of the game it certainly doesn't make the bucks any less deserving of a ring
I find it funny that people jump ships so easily. Everyone keeps saying they shouldn’t fire coach bud and shouldn’t trade jrue i think forgets the past. Let’s rewind time a lil bit. 2019 coach coaching disaster class against the raptors after the made the adjustment to pack up the paint he didn’t of nothing else just Giannis drives and kick out. 2020 same shit against Miami got out coached by spo and giannis before the injury wasn’t that affected by the wall like in 2019. 2021 they won the chip but again some series his coaching wasn’t good lmao that mega series his coaching was ass. It went 7 games mostly because of him bucks got saved by giannis injuries some Middleton performemces at time and that one jrue game winner. Nets were a super team yes but even without the injuries the bucks matched up against them pretty well. But bud was trash. In 2022 another coaching disasterclass. Bucks lost Middleton but to me that is no excuse they were up 3-2 and lost a game 6 where giannis dropped 44-20-6 just because they couldn’t guard Tatum. And why they couldn’t guard Tatum you ask me? Well because coach bud had the bright idea to put a washed up George hill on the court. The crazy thing is that bucks had Jevon Carter on the bench a great poa defender and he didn’t play him almost the whole series. And then there is 2023 against the 8th seed but again he lost his brother during that time so he wasn’t clear in the head. But choking in the playoffs isn’t something new for him. And then jrue was never gonna work long term for the bucks. He was aging just like lilard. And didn’t fit as a third to 2nd option every playoffs run with the bucks he shot 40% or lower and in 2023 he got absolutely cooked by jimmy. Bucks never had defensive problems they had half court offense problems and dame fix that. Yes he doesn’t help defensively but if you play him around good defensive players they can have a great defensive system as well can see in their recent stretch of games for the bucks. They’re good defensively.
Mistakes bucks made over the years that led up to this year was. Signing Adrian griffin which les to doc rivers, making a trade for Jae crowder using 5 picks a guy that almost never played for them, not moving Pat C after the 2022-23 season when his value was at an all time high. And trading donte divencenzo for serge ibaka in 21-22 season cuz brook was injured. They could’ve easily kept Demarcus cousins who was playing good for the bucks that year and wait till brook was back.

Mental maturity is what bigger-than-team Giannis needs most! Beside, Bucks have been too Giannis centric!
