FTP for me translates to getting the strike pass and battle pass once maxed out. Those are totally worth the $19 if you are an unlock every toon player. When you get the chance to spend power cores only do it to around 30 -36 shards on 100 shard unlocks. The 45 shard toons can easily be unlocked so don’t spend on those.
My biggest issue going into Sword Satellite is that as I've only been playing for 5 months I have quite a tall roster but I might come unstuck. I'm hoping I can one shot some nodes with teams where I have only one star (Like Kang with Masters of Evil or OML with Mercs). May have to do a fair few resets at the start before committing to the later levels.
I honestly don't complain much but Scopely is starting to drop the ball on f2p stuff. First with the Cap Britian and the the 2 day weekend calendar that some people got this past weekend only being for select players. Its starting to feel kinda bad being F2P.
If you're engaged and doing the game content such as raids, war, and making sure to complete your dailies and farming hard nexus chapters for additional gold, should be getting more than you're spending. Typically we average around 140M+ per month, so spending 5-6M will not only build a strong gold balance but also help you budget and save. Power cores = from top 10 in arena. All can be earned and built up, after that, it's about resource management and making decisions around your goals in game. Cheers!
@@fallat01as someone who has been watching Rayge for a while, he gets a lot of cores from Arena. 400 a day. that’s how he has so many, along with playing for 4+ years. he only spends cores on energy IF an energy necessary milestone is coming up via leaks or blog posts, otherwise he uses them on the 675 orbs in the store on new toons

So i am going to be saving resources for ILLUMINATI !and skipping anymore on Alpha flight
Any particular reason to skip alpha flight if they are required for the spotlight?
I’d rather training matts than gold from the mercs for money events.

BTW are u spending gold on just g19 uniques or mini uniques as well ?
I'm doing both, targeting what I need to bring up my toons as per DD7 planner
How do you have so much gold and cores if you are FTP?

So what do you spend your cores on? Do you refresh your energies?
