Embarkation Day - Carnival Radiance Cruise, winter 2023

Join us on our first day aboard the Carnival Radiance. We drive to the Crowne Plaza in downtown Phoenix, shuttle to the airport, and fly to LAX.
Next, we Uber from LAX to the cruise port. What an adventure!

So which is better.. Uber to a hotel from the airport or Uber from the hotel to the cruise center? In San pedro/ Long Beach.

I prefer to stay overnight and then Uber from the hotel to the port or even better get a hotel shuttle but we were keeping this trip to a budget. We did the Uber from LAX and it was fine. Next time, I probably will fly into long Beach if possible.

@Sea Dayz well I'm not sure if it will be easier to Uber to the hotel, then take a shuttle to port, or if I should Uber to the hotel, then take the hotel shuttle to port. This is overnight at the hotel.

@wolfeyes8281 try to get the free shuttle from the airport if available then Uber to the port, if it makes sense. That's what we would do.

@Sea Dayz ok as it's a free shuttle from the hotel as well. Think I saw the Uber to the hotel was cheaper.

@wolfeyes8281 Uber prices can vary by time of day and high demand times but that sounds like a solid plan 👆👍
