I work on these quite a lot for clients & know them. Guy rang me asking would I buy one - I said yes as I like them, arranged for him to drive it here. He said - and I quote (keep this in mind) "It runs great but the heater only blows cold"..).. Right off, I presumed someone had worked on it & hadn't bled out the cooling system properly. My spidey senses were tingling. From him to here is an hours drive - he seized it solid en-route, half way. Boiled it up. Lesson being - change the timing belts, but also bleed the cooling system if you go at that- or you'll kill it - and the guy who agreed to buy it won't as its destroyed. Shame tbh as I do like them - that was one that died for no good reason bar ignorance.
the engine cooling system for this bongos really needs to be bled properly or the cylinder gasket or even head surely will out next. many are not aware of this.they treated it as a regular front engine. just pouring in coolant and leave it like that. the key is to properly bleed the system. no crack hose then your good.
i diy ko sana yung friendee ko sa replacement ng timing belt pero lalo akong na kombinsi ng video mo na to na kung kaya ng iba bayaran mo sila hahahahaha
Madali lang sana Paps. Ang mahirap yung access hirap mag ala uod sa ilallim😆 naiipit pa ang tyan ng bulate🤗 kasi napakababa ng clearance then napakadami pang need i clear para makuha ang belt.
Thank you for this video. A friend and I used it to change the water pump and timing belt on a 1995 Mazda Bongo with a 2.5 litre diesel. The timing/cam belt tensioner seems strange because once the spring has tensioned the belt the tensioner is locked in place by the bolt. We checked with a local Mazda dealer and apparently this is correct. Whoever designed the Bongo could have given us a little more working room! It was a difficult and painful job with large Western hands. With good access it would have been quick and a pleasure to do
bought it in our local On line shops. but make sure to check your steering rack. many of Friendee or Freda here in the Phil have different steering rack installed by the distributor in Japan since it has to be converted to a right hans drive. If given your powee steeeing is for Toyota Hi ace 89-00 (fourth gen) you can find this on line

Palyado sya at walang pwersa pag nag rev up ka . Pwede nyo po ako matulongan? Ano po ang advise nyo.Hihintayin ko po ang sagot nyo.At saka pwede makahingi ng cel # nyo para makatawag ako sa inyo. most important is timing belt if nakuha ninyo ang van ng walang service records. then later nyo na palitan mga acc belts gaya ng Alternator at AC. need ang nman palitan itong mga ito kapag nagcreate na ng ingay. Unlike ng Timing belt to thru milage tayo nakatingin.
mas malakas na po ang Innova as per specs sa torque at hp. malayo po advantage ng Innova WLT 12v vs 2KD 16valve. ito pa kasi pinaka lumang makina ni Mazda. kaya maiiwan talaga sa arangkada itong wlt😄
