Thank you for your interest! If you are getting extreme wrinkling or puckering it could be that your upper weld roller speed is not set correctly or the pattern may be a bit off. If you are welding 1” seams you will have more wrinkles than you would if running a 1/2” seam. Less material under the welding wheels makes it easier to control the material causing the operator to put less stress on the material. If you are getting leak points many would weld a 1” weldable tape or 1” pvc and run it over the seams to not only reenforce the weld but prevent potential leaks.
