Good day our friends! We are getting ready to have an early supper but wanted to watch a video first. This video actually came up on our home page and it was great! We definitely are going to find the one you talk about that you made 6 years ago and see the Mammoth Caves. The area you guys camped in here was beautiful! And those deer were so fun to see. We have deer here, too and they are wonderful. Hope Yoly's ankles are healing. Take care. It's funny you mentioned you guys have done 400 videos and this was the one that was 400. : )

Here is the link to the other video ...... th-cam.com/video/uXmzsyLrNz0/w-d-xo.html Curious where it tells you that this video was number 400 ? I didn't know you could see this, I never have :-) Since you enjoy the channel you might watch our most recent videos (Part 1 & 2) of "The Story of Travels with Yoly". It will give you a complete chronological history of our camping rigs and how they evolved.

@@TravelswithYoly You mentioned it on the video and that you would be making more videos telling about you and Yoly and your travels.

    ENJOY your video's very much!!
Question could you recommend a dash camara? I was looking at the Garmin 56..

Funny you should ask :-) The dash cam that I've been using was the first one I ever bought. I bought it because I didn't really know much about dash cams and it was supposedly on sale for a good price ($70). It is a Magellan MiVue 420. It turned out to be a pretty good camera but I definitely didn't do the research to warrant the purchase. There were things I didn't like about it so about 3 weeks ago I started doing real research and spent hours watching TH-cam comparison reviews and comparing features and specs. About 10 days ago I purchased a VIOFO A119V3. Initially I was intrigued by the video quality improvement over the MiVue. Then the more I learned, the more I came to appreciate its attributes. I have only been using it just a bit as we haven't been traveling lately and we've had a lot of rainy gloomy days so I hadn't had a chance to evaluate it in bright sun until yesterday. I do notice a marked improvement in video quality. This afternoon I changed the record format down to 1080p from 2.7K because it records at 60 fps in 1080 mode. I think the 30 fps frame rate is what causes the artifacts and difficult focus when driving between rows of trees but haven't had a chance to test that theory yet. Other things I like about it (over the MiVue) are the GPS coordinate system (decimal instead of degrees), the file system of the files, the menu and UI. It has a buffered parking mode, which is touted highly in the reviews but not as important for me. Another nice feature is the available ND filter (they call it a CPL) that can be added over the lens to decrease bright sun spot flares (I ordered the camera with the filter - $15). The only negative to the camera is that it can't rotate side to side unless you purchase a separate suction cup mount which I might do at some point after evaluating it as is. It has similar specs as the Garmin but has a lower price point. Yoly just gave me a $100 budget cap which I ended up exceeding but no way would she let me spent Garmin money. I recently bought a flat black carpeted dash mat to knock out all reflection from the dash. It makes a huge difference. I had previously layed a black tee shirt on the dash under the camera. We are headed to NM in April and I'm looking forward to much improved dash cam footage :-)

No, I am not a time traveler ! Nice catch .... no fair paying attention :-) I guess editing in the wee hours of the morning has it's disadvantages :-) You are the first person to comment on that. Thanks for watching and commenting.
