Congrats on 10,000! I want to say something though. Even though I haven't started yet, you have actually inspired me to collect Nintendo merchandise and games. I know for sure when I get a job, the left over money I have, I'll use to expand my collection
Sweet video, Bob! Don't know if I've said before but I appreciate your desire to "keep it real" when playing the system on a CRT television, no mods or up-scaling. Anyhow, congrats on 10,000 and look forward to your future. Your choice in collecting is entertaining to watch and always informative. Cheers!
Great video man. You inspired me to become a collector myself and I would like to thank you for that. Congratulations on 10,000 subscribers and I hope the best for your future.
The amiibo craze has totally gone off the deep end! I can understand one franchise, but they've branched way, WAY off from Smash, Yoshi, Splatoon, Mario, 30th anniversary Mario, Animal Crossing- not to mention Animal Crossing cards in blind packs! This has crossed the line into insanity! You've GOT to be getting full of these things at this point! There's like 100 figures (roughly) right now, and 100 cards, with more coming! Good luck keeping them all in your loft!
Through a successful Kickstarter campaign, a company called HD Retrovision is producing high-quality component cables for the SNES and both models of Sega Genesis. Each model of cable has gone through extensive R&D so they are perfectly calibrated to correspond with the specific RGB output levels of their respective systems. The cables will cost $35 a piece.
Nothing is better than playing supernintendo on a proper tv that you played on in the ninties I just love it I've tried it on my dads 60 inch with upscaleing or whatever it's called and didn't like it as much
the framing on these posters is really amazing.... dont know where you had it done but you can for sure tell its not michaels. hate to think how much it cost you but whatever it was well worth it they looking amazing
Nice display on your collection. My tiny little place is so crammed, I can't spread everything out like you can to properly display it. :( One of these days though! One of these days!!
Hey Bob, congrats on 10,000 subs! I love your videos! Quick question, what shelves do you use for your games? They look like the Billy series from Ikea. I was looking at those, but I was worried they'd be do deep to hold games flush but that doesn't seem like a problem in your game room. Thanks, and congrats again!
Jake Wheeler thanks for the congratulations! the shelves i have are from the billy series but unfortunately were discontinued in 2011. now the billy series is mainly about bookshelves, which would definitely be too deep for games. the only exception is the long tower-like piece, which they've renamed to "gnedby." that's the closest thing they have for cd/dvd media.
I actually bought one of those shelf lamps from Target (before they closed in Canada) because I saw them in your videos! I had to leave it behind on the East Coast, though : (
+World of Nintendo I have a few suggestions for collection video's because your collection videos are awesome -super smash bros -Mario sports -super Mario RPG collection -super famicom Japanese N64
I think as long as you don't over extend your budget or put it above your personal life and relationships then collecting is fun. The hunt is probably the best part of collecting. Once the item is squired it feels good. But as long as you don't over extend yourself then there's no harm.
Great collection, on some aspects I am quite envious of this but awe-struck at the same time. Question though, do you or can anyone else chime in as to Sega or Sony, maybe Xbox counter parts to you. I would love to see some similar videos on Sega.
RandomTH-cam Guy ah yes, that. this is the extent of my knowledge about it: www.mcvuk.com/news/read/nintendo-set-to-offer-loot-crate-subscription-box-rival/0153435
I had both systems growing up actually all the systems from sega and Nintendo up until the Nintendo GameCube and the 32x for sega because we didn't get the Saturn in my city and I had gotten an original Xbox by the time the dream cast came out in my city and couldn't afford it
CRT's are too much of a pain to own nowadays. That's why I'm moving more towards emulation every day. In fact, I almost exclusive play Super Smash Bros.64 on my Wii thanks to its progressive scan output and support for the incredible GameCube controller. The Virtual Console is brilliant and part of the reason why the Wii is now my favorite Nintendo home console.
Look in his playlist called curbside pickup. He explains in one of the videos. But the boards inside the Famicom/NES controller is virtually identical and all he did was swap one out for the other and thus a NES length corded Famicom controller that can be used in the Famicom AV, or the American models too, I think, since the plugs are the same.
Looks like you have to buy the rest of the club Nintendo items from eBay since I saw mario kart 8 stuff and i think you might did to find tatsunoko vs capcom since the final boss from okami is in the game and your will need the arcade stick as well
World of Nintendo both. I have some things like my Nintendo Twin Famicom and Virtual Boy I'd like to keep safe and secure, but on the other hand I'd like to have my Atari 5200 and NES ready for regular usage. My current system is a mess and I don't really get to play as much as I'd like.
2bit MarketAnarchist if you can afford it, there's a pretty spiffy plastic case for the virtual boy that you might find on ebay. the twin famicom is pretty big but you might be able to find a case for it at a store like the Container Store if you live in the united states. as far as consoles that you use regularly, i'd just suggest keeping them hooked up to the tv you play them on and cover them with a towel if you're worried about dust.
2bit MarketAnarchist although they're getting harder to find since physical media such as CDs and DVDs are becoming less popular, CD/DVD shelves usually acommodate both cartridge and disc games pretty well. i'd look for pressboard cd shelf at a thrift store. you can probably also find them new at stores like target or best buy
The Nbox is something I'm going to get if I can and if you ever do sell your collection I want it I'll hopefully have won the lottery by then so lol get in touch with me when you do sell it lol hahaha
That's it I'm going to get every game and system I ever wanted but it'll take me until I'm 100 but don't care because I can only spend small amounts but being disabled I need something to do that isn't to hard to do
Wow I'm super jealous of your collection I'm only starting mine again after loosing everything in a house fire so if you don't have it get separate insurance for all you games systems and collectables so if it ever happens to you you'll get the proper amount back to try to get your collection back not just 3000$ like I did which was 20000$ or more short of what my collection was worth
He has mentioned in a few of his videos that he was coming out of high school when Pokemon started and just missed it, with the exception of the characters and such included in Smash Bros. and chose to not worry about getting involved with it. Except for the games, I'm not in to Pokemon that much either!
Sadly its pretty hard to understand and find the story of the grand scheme between the 4 games, most people play for the repetitive and suspenseful gameplay, while going to the GameTheory's channel for an explanation lol
+NJKGames but we know that purple guy is Mike Schmidt and not Phone Guy (because he died before FNAF 1 and purple guy died after FNAF 1) and we know that the child from FNAF 4 is the victim of The Bite Of 87 and FredBear caused it.
I love Pokemon too, but I certainly agree with him on the collecting aspect of it! There is just so much now from the games, cards figures etc. that would/should be it's own collection, something apart from something like this. But even he can't stay away from Pokemon 100% as the Amiibo he has, some are of Pokemon as well, most are from Smash Bros, but still. If I were to pick a character to focus on, I would have a hard time collecting it too. My top Nintendo franchise is Kirby, and there just really isn't much to get in the way of toys, plushies, etc. that I am aware of to begin a collection of like there are for others. The Planet Robobot Amiibo look great though. So I would probably have to do a hodgepodge of a few things Kirby and try and find somethings of others like Perfect Dark, which is another very small window for collecting. I know there is a Joanna Dark action figure. but I'm not sure what else, if anything, exists.
Nintendo fanboy,I can't stand you guys get over yourself Nintendo is failing as a company they are following that same path as Sega though I will admit they have great exclusives
+Doctor Celly same path as Sega if this is 1990 when Sega was holding its own! Have you noticed they have sold tons and tons of these things called amiibo? They're staying afloat even if their systems don't carry the bulk of their profits.
=) Congrats on 10,000 subs! I'm glad to be one of them.
Luke Luna thanks! glad to have you as a subscriber!
World of Nintendo Do you have a Japanese re designed Wii? The second model that is.
World of Nintendo How old are you?
+Jacob Carpenter there is no Japanese Wii Mini.
NintendoSage No I meant the Wii model 2. You know, this.

No sabes cuanto me enamora la Gamecube, por un accesorio en particular: El Game Boy Player.

I've been watching the Nintendo Unboxed series, and how do you get everything so mint condition? Your game closet is filled with stuff.
I actually bought one of those shelf lamps from Target (before they closed in Canada) because I saw them in your videos! I had to leave it behind on the East Coast, though : (
inyojelly i love those lamps. i have two more elsewhere in the house!
Do you think you'll do a video series on your video game guides? Specifically the pre Wii guides.
+World of Nintendo I have a few suggestions for collection video's because your collection videos are awesome
-super smash bros
-Mario sports
-super Mario RPG collection
-super famicom
Japanese N64
Are you going to get the Walmart Mario maker wii u set to get the red and blue 8 bit Mario amiibo?
Gongratulations 10k subscribers
Possible video on the Family Computer Basic keyboard? Or the Data recorder?
Are you going to get the new 3ds animal crossing bundle?
As a Nintendo collector myself, the possible idea of a Nintendo loot crate scares me :-P
Cool room!

0_o its all so beautiful
Teteris is my favorite game ever and I have it on my iPad Air.

we miss you bob
When will you upload more videos? It's been 4-5 months.
would you have any extra zelda games for sale for n64
Dominic Montoya at this time i have only one copy of all my games.
Great collection, on some aspects I am quite envious of this but awe-struck at the same time.

+mrroboto5785 +mrroboto5785 Adam Koralik (channel: AdamKoralik) has a complete dreamcast collection
When are you gonna do a new video??? !!
Wonderful collection. How do you keep it so clean??? My house gets so dusty. Anyway very impressive.
it's actually quite dusty in there. I gotta take care of that... ;)
Do u think u have a risk of the amiibo on the top self to fall?
Diego Arenas anything is possible, but those shelves are quite stable on top of the railing.
Do you have a Twitter?
I'm just watching this in awe, wondering how can you afford all this stuff?
Hi I'm wondering what your Miiverse account is and congrats on 10,000 subs.
What is the end box,and when is it coming out?
RandomTH-cam Guy not sure what you're referring to. is it something at the end of the video?
Yeah, when you said it's Nintendo version of loot crate.
RandomTH-cam Guy ah yes, that. this is the extent of my knowledge about it: www.mcvuk.com/news/read/nintendo-set-to-offer-loot-crate-subscription-box-rival/0153435
+World of Nintendo Thank you.
you got the best games to play.
When are you going to upload
I had both systems growing up actually all the systems from sega and Nintendo up until the Nintendo GameCube and the 32x for sega because we didn't get the Saturn in my city and I had gotten an original Xbox by the time the dream cast came out in my city and couldn't afford it
How many things:games, accesories, etc. have you in this colection?
I know you aren't particularly fond of Fire Emblem but what games in the series do you own.
Captain Karnage i bought path of radiance to complete a nintendo-published gamecube collection (back when i was still doing that ;) )
CRT's are too much of a pain to own nowadays. That's why I'm moving more towards emulation every day. In fact, I almost exclusive play Super Smash Bros.64 on my Wii thanks to its progressive scan output and support for the incredible GameCube controller. Are you still around? ^-^ I have enjoyed your videos! :D
How does he have a separate Famicom Controller?
Look in his playlist called curbside pickup. He explains in one of the videos.
But the boards inside the Famicom/NES controller is virtually identical and all he did was swap one out for the other and thus a NES length corded Famicom controller that can be used in the Famicom AV, or the American models too, I think, since the plugs are the same.

you better love to hate yumi
This is Fucking Paradise
The virtual boy is one system I don't think I'll ever get
Do you have any advice on how to store consoles?
2bit MarketAnarchist as in putting them away in storage or keeping them at the ready for use?
World of Nintendo both. I have some things like my Nintendo Twin Famicom and Virtual Boy I'd like to keep safe and secure, but on the other hand I'd like to have my Atari 5200 and NES ready for regular usage. My current system is a mess and I don't really get to play as much as I'd like.

why return the skull kids if you were going to unbox it anyway?
Because he keeps the boxes I'm sure.
I don't ever remember hearing about the watch at 5:29
T.A.Z.E. Studios that's a relic that i got for christmas in 1992. i've never done a video about it, but maybe i should! :)
The Nbox is something I'm going to get if I can and if you ever do sell your collection I want it I'll hopefully have won the lottery by then so lol get in touch with me when you do sell it lol hahaha
If you get a earthquake you are screwed xD
Toxic gamer yes, earthquakes tend to be problematic for all involved. :)
does a japanese amiibo figure work on a north american console?
TAKE MY MONEY
i think no, Nintendo loves region locks
