Loved how Rein sang “Saturday morning!” 🎶🎵 Always nice to see him having a good time. Eefje did great! The village is so idyllic.
Video vigil for Yvonne.
Am really enjoying the older videos. Big Boss Rein putting on a master class!
💙🕉👑💫
I love seeing the older mares helping the youngers ones learn! Sjirkje did a great job helping Eefje! And your villages and country are so beautiful, I know I say that a lot but it's true!!
Love the sound of their hooves. Such a wonderful way to spend a beautiful day. it always amazes me how blue the sky is where you are no matter what time of year.
Eefje is doing so well and Rein is very encouraging with his verbal commands. It was a beautiful day and I really enjoyed going through the village.🐎🐎🐎🐎🥰🇺🇸
it takes incredible training ( in my opinion)to have these horses go on the road with the cars, trucks, yellow boxes, motorcycles and people. especially considering they are only 3 and 7 years old. I have no idea how you train them this well. horses can easily spook and panic. I am in awe of their training and of the people at stal goenngamieden. thank you yvonne for posting this video today.
. ❣❤❤❤❣ all so beautiful and interesting!
Watching for Yvonne's recovery❣️
Watching with ads, to help keep the channel going strong while Yvonne heals.
This team looks so very good together. Eefje did very nicely through the water challenge with the help of Sjirke. It is always a joy to see the village and I can imagine how much the residents enjoy hearing the clopping of horse shoes.
You can tell by the look on Rein's face how much he loves his job haha I used to work with Shires here in the UK heavy horses are so loving I loved riding them heavy horse riding is a treat if you ever get to try it.
Way to go Eefje!! What a great job. And of course her faithful beautiful leader also is amazing. 💜💜💜
Wow, Eefje's mane looks amazing when she's trotting.
I love all your videos but this type is like being there. The area you drive through is very pretty & clean-looking & the whole thing is a pleasure to watch. Great viewing angles too. Eefje did very well for a first time & Sjirke was a steady teacher. I’m so glad found this channel. It’s a favourite. 🙂
Yeah Eefje did very well. Sjirkje was a good companion for Eefje to learn going through the water. After the first time she understood it's not scary. She also did very well when the big truck passed by. Thanks for sharing. 🙂❤🐴
Rein you are an awesome, careful, gentle and kind driver and the horses trust you driving them.
Princess Eefje did fantastic -- you must be very proud of her! First time for so much, and she got through it very well. I think by the end, she was starting to enjoy going through the water. Teacher Sjirkje is to be much commended, of course! Fun cameo by Senna's tail, that was cute.
The sound of their hooves on the ground is a wonderful noise I love listening to it I think both of them did great,Godezo. Eefje hesitates with the obstacle and thinks “oh no avoid this water monster at all costs” but Sjirkje is a calm steady presence beside her “come on follow me it won’t eat you” I really like how horses communicate to each other we all need a little help sometimes. I’m proud of 👑Princess Eefje it took her a moment but she went through the water like the champion she is,like her mom Uniek.❤️❤️🐴🐴💦
@@LindaEll89 Oh yes without a doubt a perfect song.😄🤗❤️
That sounds is steal shoes on hard pavement you put steal shoes on & rundown the street see if it freaking hurts
@@kathychildress18 The shoes are important for the horses to have because all the mares are trained in front of the cart. It would be 10xs more painful for them without the shoes if they were on the road as they are designed to prevent injury by acting as shock absorbers and an additional layer of protection, some owners have their horses shoeless depends on the activities done with their animals but most of the mares at Stal Goengamieden are driven and/or ridden 3-4 times a week when the weather is good so in this situation shoes are necessary. The horses are not in any pain whatsoever as the area of the hoof that the shoes are attached to has no nerve endings/blood flow so they don’t feel anything;the nails used aren’t harmful either because they go in at a certain angle and avoid the sensitive part, going out through the side of the hoof. The farrier makes sure to file down any sharp points or bends them upward so they don’t catch or snag on anything.Like everything else Rein & his staff do for his horses they will ALWAYS make sure that the shoes fit each mare properly and the farrier is called when needed and if there were any issues with the feet something would be done about it as soon as possible. Every single horse at the stable get the best care & attention that Rein and the team can give them believe me. There are a few shoeing videos in the library Yvonne posted if you are interested in seeing how it’s done it doesn’t bother them at all.
Just amazing with the most beautiful horses in the world!
Wonderful horses...in the beautiful country...thanks for the nice video 🥰💗🐴🤗
This is always one of my favorite things. Rein is so in his element driving the cart. The Friesian Ladies did very well. Sjirkje says "It will be ok Eefje, water is not scary and soon we get pellets"
It shows how important to have an experienced horse to teach the younger 3 year old. I also think that it shows how all of the horses trust you (Yvonne) as many have known you since birth.
Rein's voice allows Eefje and Sjirkje to go at the right time during the trot 🐎❤️
I love to watch these beautiful Friesien horses so much. They are such a gift to me in my senior life. I rode the draft horses on the farm years ago. Such sweet memories. Such lovely animals!
The Clip Clop is a soothing sound.
The horses did an awesome job going through the water
Sjirje is a beautiful horse and well done teaching or showing eefje how to go through the water
So interesting how the horses learn from each other xx
Here for Yvonne 🙏❤
Uniek was the only one who really loved going through the water. Visiting again. ❤️💙❤️💙🌈☀️🌻
That was nice to watch how Eefje learned to pull the cart together with Shirkje; she did great! I love to watch
the houses left and right. They are so low and pretty, and I kept thinking, "A lot of happy and healthy people must
live in those houses. Everything is so low-key and relaxing. Yes, I know, even Friesian people can have problems,
but I would rather dwell on all the happy ones that live there, bless them!
Beautiful ❤️😍 ride with those magnificent horses.
Well done Eefje 😊😊! She did really well with all the scary things in the village! I think that Reintje must have told her that there are crocodiles in the water, but Sjirke is such a good teacher, and has explained that although Reintje thinks there are crocodiles, there aren't really 😂😂!
ROFL!!
What a lovely video today! Thank you! So much for the senses to see and hear the beautiful Freisians as they pull the cart along the brick streets of your charming village. Just beautiful! Blessings from Texas!
❤🙏🏻✝️💫❤🙏🏻✝️💫❤🙏🏻✝️💫❤🙏🏻✝️💫🇺🇸
i do like the differences of opinions and understand other people have separate ways of dealing with horses. you both love your horses which is the most important thing!
Your town is very pretty, even the paver streets! Interesting video!
The sound of the hoofs is magical ❤️
Love that sound...The village is amazing.
Sjirkje is a wonderful mentor for Eefje! Goed zo, braaf!! Eefje met all of the challenges during her training session; she's a good learner. Love that village; the local scenery is fantastic! Wonderful video!
Goed zo, braaf!! 😁😁😁
GREAT COMMENT Janet!!! I love we're all learning Dutch!! GOED ZO, BRAAAFF!! 😃😀🙂🥰💕🌈🤸♀️🏇🐎🐴 Go LIEKE!!
Thanks, Sherry! I can only type it on my laptop. My smartphone has learned the horses' names, but not the phrases! How is your leg doing? 💕 Go Lieke!🐴
A beautiful performance. Never flinched 👍👍👍👍💕❤💕
A very successful training session 👍
Eefje did a wonderful job with Sjirkje showing her how and Rein's constant support and encouragement.
I love the hoof sound
Hey I understand, I don't speak Dutch, but his verbal tone is same in any language. That long stick is not a whip it's a tactile message, touching message, I'M Here. Your leader, I'll see you through this safely. Trust me. Rein says, verbally and touching and the horses do. Training is about gaining trust both sides. To my fellow
AMERICANS, no one beats horses to gain trust.
I just feel bad Yvonne compelled to explain.
She did a fantastic job 👍🏻🤩 well done
Great Lesson! Well Done!
Beautiful video.
It's great to see Senna the beauty doggo encouraging her equine sisters!!
Well done Eefje! Your coat will be jet black soon and you will be as beautiful and talented as Sjirkje! 🤩🇺🇸
I love that you guys train all the time. I also think it's wonderful that Rein takes the time with little next door Rein. That he learns how to care for horses, what the work actually is, and how to do the fun stuff too.
I love watching ure videos Yvonne ❤❤ Rein is so good training them and he loves doing it ❤
Fantastic video, she did great she's so beautiful. Both are.
Eefje has done great.
Yvonne you live in such a beautiful place. It is nice when you guys go out for a drive with the horses that you meet people along the way that you know.
I am sure the locals are very familiar with the sound of the horses coming through the village.
I would love to live in such a beautiful place.
love to watch Rein train the mares to the cart! he has such a positive soothing voice for them - and of course love watching them go through the village seeing new things!
Rein senior is an excellent teacher as well as Sjirkej! Eefje did well by her side . Beautiful place Friesan horse's!! ☺😘💞
Hi yvonne and rein,beautiful mares
The village is so beautiful! As are the horses, which goes without saying! And what do I say about Rein? ❤❤❤ Adorable.
Goed zooooo! Brave girls, and 'braaf' too! Especially Eefje, who has not much experience pulling the carriage yet. Lucky to have confident Sjirkje at her side.
Goed zo!! Braaf haha
@@FriesianHorses Hahaha, dat goed zo wordt echt een dingetje hier, vooral bij de engelsprekenden: godezo, geodzo, goezdo enz. Vind zo 😂😂😂!
What a sweet horse Sjirkje is😘😘😘😘😘🙃😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
Fantastici!!!
They did so good 😍
It seems like the people in the village are used to Rein driving the horses through. No one seemed to take a second glance.
I'm as nervous as Eifje! No auto-pilot with this kind of driving ;) So impressed with Rein's ability with the horses and the team that rides along! It is a rare day when I hear horses' hooves on the streets of my rural Ohio village. Some special events include wagon rides drawn by draft horses but it's not as frequent as it used to be.
Just lovely...
Senna is a beautiful dog
A Beautiful Sound to a city boy.
Great shot with the camera, low & to the right of the driving carriage. You can clearly see how the horses are responding. Also very interesting is the continual redirection (of the horses minds,) by both voice and touches of the whip. It reminds me of mantra meditation or breath meditation, where the mind's focus is redirected & thereby calmed by replacing it with something else to do rather than focused on worrisome thoughts. The mind can be a useful slave but a treacherous master. Tame the mind, tame the horse.
💓💓💓💓
They are so beautiful❤❤❤
I miss these Dames.....
Zo nu een lekkere warme douche en welverdiende brokjes 💗
Hello Yvonne, beautiful this ride with Eefje and Sjirkje very good in going at the same time 🐎🐎❤️
Eefje and Sjirkje don't particularly like walking in water 🌊 🌊 so they have to socialize with this natural element
😍
@@vanessaserafino9599 🌊🐎🌊🐎🤗❤️❤️
What a day so many new challenges but our girl did great.I was almost waiting for them to stop in the middle of the water.Senna was very encouraging just waiting to give a pep talk if needed
They are doing very well 😃 Such nice horses.
❤️ as always!
That went great!!
OH BOY!! GOOOOO EEEEEFJE!!!! I am so PROUD OF YOU!!! 😊 You learned the water so fast & I could just hear your buddy Sirjke... coaching you as you went along... going through the most beautiful village I have ever seen!! 😲 It was so green, fresh, & pretty. 😄 You also can tell how proud the people are of your horses Rien. They always seem to stop or slow down in respect for your cart rides. THANK you Yvonne for the wonderful ride. 🙃😉 Oh & Sirjke... you also have a cute wiggly butt & smooth stride like your buddy Frieda!! LOL HAHAHA 🤣🙂🤣😍💜💕🌈🐴🐎🐴🏇🐎🐎🐎🌈💕💕
LOVE how the herd community is learning Dutch!... GOAD ZO, BRAFFFF! @Janet Major... well done my friend!!
😊 Thanks!
Thank you @Linda ... I am excited to learn the language & proper saying + spelling!! Appreciate your input!!😆😄😃
@@LindaEll89 awwww that's SO true! I noticed that about you guys!! 😄💕🌈
The girls are doing a good job learning to work as a team!
Good girl eefje well done
They sure r beautiful.
What a pretty area you live in!
They saw a cow and had flashbacks to the great neighbor cow invasion of 2020
Good one!😊
Waaaay funny!
That looks like alot of fun.
Must be nice to live in a smaller place where you can recognize someone driving by. Can't say that here. I live in a metropolis of several large cities joined together totaling almost 5 million people. The fifth largest in the US. Good luck seeing someone you know drive by here!🚗
Love it!
I love where you live! It is so lovely. Such good girls to go through the water. They looked so beautiful pulling the carriage. Rein does an excellent job with them. Does he ever drive a single horse carriage? Be well!
Way to go ladies 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🥰🥰🙋🏻♀️
Yvonne didn’t you have your long rain boots to go cross the path with the girls ???🤣🤪
Really nice sound!
support yvonne...
Another absorbing video - thanks. And I imagine young Rein the neighbor boy is soaking up so much knowledge in this outing with Rein, Yvonne, and Rinske. Will working with horses be in his future career?
How far can they pull the cart without stopping? Amazing first time out for Eefje!!!
Sound ❤
Sjirkje is a good teacher. And Eefjie is doing better. You all look like you had a good day. But it's always a good day with Friesian horses.🥰♥️
YES IT IS!!! We just LOVE it don't we?? Best channel on TH-cam!!
@@sherrywebber4013 you can say that again. So much fun to watch.
🧡🤗🧡🤗
Whenever anyone is worried about whip taps or spurs touching sides being painful for horses, I remind them of how horses set limits with one another. Powerful kicks and sharp teeth, far worse than a well applied aid. A whip or spur used correctly becomes an extension of our human bodies, to be clear on boundaries or ask for very specific body part adjustments. That is why they are called "aids". A whip or spur used abusively is like anything else used abusively, painful and wrong.
paardensport.. geweldig jammer dat we hier de ruimte niet hebben had ik wel 20 paarden gehad :P
Hey Lovely angel faya is also on that cart....
Sometime I'd like to see a more detailed demonstration of driving a cart. How do you know when to brake, how do you know when to encourage one of the horses to pull more evenly, how do you guide two horses around a sharp corner, etc. How is Rein teaching Younger Rein? This would likely involve Experienced Rein who may not have the time, but he makes it look so easy, and I'm curious to see how it is harder than it looks.
Maybe it isn't that hard... but thanks. I try to explain that parts.
@@FriesianHorses Thanks!
Ah! The zen of horse butt contemplation.
What a beautiful opening scene Yvonne! I love the angle you got from above, almost like I was driving them myself haha! What are those buttons on the cart that Rein has his foot on? I thought it could be a brake or to put pressure on the cart but im not sure..
Thank you for asking that.. I meant to & forgot! @Linda could you help??
I just say the answer further down. Linda said, yes, it is a brake.
