- A RARE FIAT HESSTON 7725
Hours: 3500 approx.
year of manufacture: 1986
Horsepower when new: 360 hp
Acres cut when new: 1500 acres approx. with first owner
Acres cut now: 200/250 acres now
The harvesters blower box was relined 2 years ago, other than that it is still original.
Since buying her we have found it to be very reliable, very cost efficient and a very capable machine. The Iveco engine in her has never been touched in it's 26 years in operation! neither has the hydrostatic, it also has been very reliable and has never seen the workshop, and hopefully never will ! She will do a good days work on 100 gallons of diesel, and will put 70 acres of grass through her for that." - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
I had one of these when I first started contracting. Great little machine that was easy to work on and maintain except for the idler pulley for the main drive belt that was a pain for chewing through bearings and also mine used to fracture infect or pipes!!
for a 1986 machine she fairly eats into the grass. very impressive
great video, a rare tool to be still liftin grass, and well able by the looks of it
Engine never touched!? I'm impressed. Those iveco engines were a bit of a headache on the old fiat - Hitachi diggers. Its good to see an older machine still well able to work.
good vid nice too see. thanks for upload
ahead of its time!
Cracking video, thanks for posting it
Couldn't be back in 86 modern john deere
Cracking machine we did 110 acre in one day with a average 80/90 acres day, great machine when start contacting it was 15 acres a day early 80,s .then in 1987-89 we on 80 + plus.as one farmer saic ye spend a week with me, know in the gate 6 on the up the road to next farm by 5 a shock could not believe it
great yoke a lad up this side had one for years until claas took over !!!
Very good Eamonn...don't see many of them!
Nice now all you need is my 1985 Fiat-Hesston 686 to pull the wagons and it will look like a Fiatagri commercial from the 80's :)
we have three of them does the silage for us every year
Unreal!! :D
very gd video eamonn

michael
Oh yes. Classic tractor was good this month. Know the fellow who owns the Megele self propelled
everyone thinks fiats are scrap but by god you couldnt get the end of them!!
pushing on fair speed still a fair chopper like the crop press rollers on the pickup reel
beg to differ, we had one a couple of years ago, went to replace a shearbar, and found out that there were only 5 left in the world!!!
there are loads of harvesters left laying around, but there were only 5 new shearbars left in the world at that time.
A shame that rust is the main problem whit the fiats! so good machines!
Any idea of how strong she is? Love to see the old machines do real work!
classic tractor
My father used to be a mechanic on Hesston equipment, firstly for Opico from '69 to '73, then directly for Hesston when they set up their own depot at Stretton under Fosse. He quit with them just before the Fiat take over but continued working on the machines for another 8 years after. As well as mowers and balers, he worked in the era of 4000s through to 7650s.
I remember him from my time using Hesston equipment in the late 1970's.
@@richardcantrill4513 Oh really ? Where were you based and with what kit? Bob's 81 now and not doing too well.
Forsyth Farmwork Warwickshire. 6400 Swathers, Trailed and selfprop foragers. Hesston made a promo video of us using the equipment, often wonder what happened to it.
Sorry to hear Bob is not so good.
@@richardcantrill4513 I remember Forsyths at Kineton well, I know they had a 7650 as I helped the old man with a job on it. Bob's in care now, in Pershore, just down the road from me. I have to see him tomorrow, will send your regards. Yeah, that'd be an interesting film to see. I know back in the day at agricultural shows they had a video type machine that would play demo films on loop., probably all got binned when Fiat took over.
Some harvester for 1986
Excellent video Eamonn.
Never mind the rost,it is in good condition to do his work.
New one in a few minutes.
Hendrik
She's a fair machine to go!! Who and where is this Eamonn?
Yes about the Jaguars was good alright
Now. Ya think john deere. Would have told us about time travell.
An Massey too🤣
if there were shearbars then we would gladly have bought them but there were none to be had, this was through new holland, maybe you can get non-genuine ones somewhere i don't know, but as far as new holland were concerned there were next to none left.
You can beat a good fiat. great vid
Great video. She's an old machine. Is she still in constant use??
I would love 1 of them
there are loads of harvesters but not many new parts
I think you were quite young back in 1996?
Where is this? Looks like Cornwall.
back in 1986?????is that a 00 reg john deere i see drawing
this wasnt 1986
The chopper was made In 1986!!!
gud vid is that yurs
It's not 1986 it's brobobly 1996
Sh1t thats what i ment!!
Them tractors aren’t that old clickbait title!!!
Your out about 10 years
Stephen French it’s later than 96 as well that John Deere is from the 2000’s at least. The fiat is probably 86
I'd say when that video was done was early 2000s cause them John Deeres did not exist in 1986.
drinagh i abbose
v badly mowed gud bit of harvesting though not 86 either
