This is an animation of two stage double acting air pressure booster manufactured by ALTAROs. Altaros company offers their pressure boosters especially for air gun shooters, paintball players and scuba divers to fill their high-pressure air tanks at home.

I couldn't possibly be happier with the Altaros Booster pump. I shoot a .257 Custom AirGun that is an absolute Air Hog! It keep me in air and puts out a very cool charge.

Which compressor is typically a low stage "booster" compressor not found on high stage applications?

All air circuits work at 6 bar pressure. You must use a two-stage booster if you need higher-pressure air for an application.
