Maddie Bray and Aileana McFerson Palos Verdes Doubles, Team Wins CIF State Girls Tennis Championship

Freshman Maddie Bray (@maddie_brayyy) and junior Aileana McFerson (@aileana.mcferson_) of Palos Verdes High in California earned a 6-2, 6-0 victory against at No. 3 doubles against Tyra Bogan and Sophia Stavrakos to contribute to a sweep of all three doubles matches for the Sea Kings in a 5-2 win against Los Altos and the first team title in program history at the CIF State Girls Tennis Championship at Sierra Sport and Racquet Club in Fresno. Palos Verdes, which also won the Southern Section Open Division title and Southern California Regional crown, allowed a combined five games in six doubles sets and also prevailed twice in singles to become the first high school girls tennis team in Southern California history to finish the season with a 27-0 record.
