  • This was the last song of Barairo no Kyūsetsuki left and so, I also traslated all the texts and poems in the second press booklet (scans made by the glorious lucifer-luscious-violenoue tumblr blog). So, here it comes, a long description.
Foremost, the album has two songs called "Requiem". One is the original demo version of Walpurgis no Yoru and the other (this one) takes the chorus from the first and appears on here. Good chorus, potent chorus. Tho the back sounds trow me off a little.
The booklet distinguish them by adding "Requiem aeternam donaeis, Domine", to this version, which is the name of a christian prayer that means "Lord, give them the eternal rest".
The first text on the video is a little aperture poem and dedication written by Lucifer and thrown over the first booklet pages. I believe I talked about T.E. Lawrence once. Military guy makes strategy in the desert and then writes a book about it (I don't know if the quote is from the book as I haven't neither plan to read it).
The second text (1:25 or so) also appeared on the Decadence of Rose booklet. It is interrupted by the song's lyrics but continues on the 2:13.
The last text is called "For the God Apraux". The god's name is writen in katakana and I lack the religious knowdeledge to know who is Luci talking about, nor if the correct translation is really "Apraux". Google doesn't know neither.
Levi is the son of Jacob, biblical thing.
In this poem "demon" is read as "me". How goth.
Then there's the text "Textualities: vampirsm roman rose noir" writen by Gardie, the guitarrist, which I haven't included in the video as I was lacking space. Here it is:
In this story you have to interpretate a role, may it be "me" or "you". And so, you will refuse to give any sort of alegorical significance or interpretation to this role. This is because this story is not a fantasy, nor something as trivial as a "song" or "melody". This surreal story will be the reality between me and you, the "you" and "me" hiding inside you. Texts like this may not be necesary soon.
You'll be attracted by the atmosphere of this work and find yourself in the duality of your person, in the mirror, "you" and "me". Only then I'll be able to take you with me. To the rose kingdom.
To finish there is this nameless poem of Luci, which seems to be a conceptual draft of the whole album. Here:
    Will it reach you?
    My scream,
    My blood,
    And so-
This love that heads towards death.
    The voices of joy
Echoe from the depths of earth.
    You don't listen.
    Closed with force.
    I always, always,
    Always wrote about love.
    Because,
    May it exist, somehow,
    Something more terrifying than this?
    Such sanctity over the head,
Tinted by the color of roses.
    For you, the ultimate sin,
For me, the most joyful illness,
    Angel, I desire you,
Even if it kills you, I want to touch you.
T.E Lawrence says that the desert sucks up your blood,
And another curtain opened up over such pretty tragedies.
I'll pill up rose petals over and over again,
In the rose kingdom, I ought to embrace you.
    Hey, did you know?
    Whoever doesn't believe in miracles
Will be expelled from this world.
Between ruins buried over the ashes of death, who have you been waiting for?
Until you are crucified, who are you waiting for?
    You've been waiting for me,
Among long moments, I lose my mind.
    Zutto matteita ndane

    Nemuru made saigo no
