Jan Leyers arrived at his fifth station on his journey across Europe: London. The laws in GB are much more liberal when it comes to religion than in the countries he visited before. People are allowed to practice their religion and wear whatever they want, as long as they don't harm others.
Jan meets Haitham al-Haddad, a popular Sheikh who is the chairman of a Sharia council, one of eighty in GB. He decides on marriages, divorces and inheritances. Jan discusses his rather controversial views on the Islamic law, especially on apostasy (al-riddah). What are the punishments for a Muslim who renounces his faith? The question of apostasy in Islam is one of the most controversial to have afflicted the Muslim world throughout its history. They can't answer this in today's Liberal world where they are enjoying freedom of speech across the globe while denying at their home..Truly speaking, the fear of this rule ruins lives of many young rational thinkers. They cannot express themselves and spend life in isolation. This damages their hidden capabilities and consequence is their failure overall. Imagine the question is so serious that this well educated imam is unable to answer, even he thinks Christianity is more Idealistic and Islam is realistic( which no doubt is, but not for those who are not Muslim)

Its simple like I don't know why the sheikh is evading the Questions, the answer is u can leave like there is no punishment. The punishments come under different other circumstances like openly betraying Muslims or belittling Islam etc. If u want answer to those go do research rather than just searching it on google and believing what google says.

This Surah came when people of Madina accused Mohammad for abusing their gods. This surah was to assure them that he won't do that again, but he later conquered Madina and destroyed all their idols of their gods. So this is basically a lie he told them
@@greenweed3253 the sura wasnt him directly speaking. It was ALLAH swt telling him to say it to the people, also medina ended up being the place of worship for muslims not idol worshippers. It was the same place abraham and all the messengers had come to and it was abrahams first home. The exact location was significant, if They had worshipped the idols anywhere else he wouldnt have went and destroyed them. Hence why he didnt go around the world doing that. That specific location was sacred and they knew it this is why they dilberately worshipped it in that location. That was the house of GOD! Let me put it into perspective for you im sure i can do drugs and do whatever i want no matter the crimes and you wont care, but if i did it in your home and around your family, then its a problem.

Clearly this man doesn't know the answer. Also, a person with beard and hat doesn't make him a scholar. If you follow or unfollow Islam, nothing happens. As long as you are a person of good morals, uou are safe and doesn't matter who or how you pray. As long as you serve humanity with just and fairness, God will forgive you. Its very simple, human made religion and created division among themselves.
The man very much knows the answer. He's smart enough to not articulate it when cameras are on him. It's very straightforward answer, and apostasy is very serious in Islam.
