honestly flower of evil and navillera are the most impressive dramas I've ever watched. both are very diff genres but absolutely immaculate in their own right
Seeing Flower of Evil in #4 makes me soooo happy, when it aired was so underrated but now people really gives the praises and credits it deserves, it is such a masterpiece!!!
I wanted to watch it for fun because it was released on my birthday and I never regretted it since

alchemy of souls... a complete blend of classics... a compelling storyline, the effects, the swoon worthy moments, and the magnificent acting skills of the cast leave u in their world. a must watch !
Totally agree, Alchemy of Souls is addictive for its storyline, excellent cast and the soul shifting concept. Plus the CGI is excellent for a TV series. There's no other show like it, so far...

Great list... I would add: Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (Goblin), The King Eternal Monarch, and Tale of the Nine-tailed.
But really... the list could just go on and on. Korea makes amazing dramas. I have yet to watch a bad one.

I've seen all but 7, if I counted right, and most of the others are near the top of my list. SO happy that Move To Heaven made it to #1. I kept hoping thru the whole video that it would be on there! I've seen that one twice, as well as Healer, Crash Landing, It's OK and a few others. Great list!

Great List. I have seen 16/25.
From the list my favorites are Healer, Flower of Evil, Reply 1988, It's Okay to Not be Okay, Mr. Sunshine, Hospital Playlist, and Alchemy of Souls.
I would include Goblin as number 1, as well as Descendants of the Sun, Legends of the Blue Sea, W, Hotel de Luna, and Mouse.
Memories of the Alhambra is also a personal favorite.
I'm too happy someone had the sense to include Flower of evil, Weak hero , Mr Queen, its okay to not be ok and Healer... A big plus not included goblin 😂😂

I can't get past the utter over usage of shaky cam. I'm three episode in and the story is engaging buy oh my god the camera shaking is just ridiculous.
Have watched 10/25 and watching 5 more but would also seriously recommend Goblin , The good bad mother, My name one of my personal favourites

Didn't like the Good Bad Mother, the female lead is basically Jo Jackson with extra steps. Her abuse is constantly excused throughout the series : oh, she's an orphan, oh she's a widow, oh blah, blah, blah... Her son had to be the better person as a child and is trained to cater to his abuser. The series normalizes emotional incest, parentification of children, infantilisation of adult children, and disguises straight up abuse into filial love.
That was really unsettling to watch...
From this 25 list.. my number 1 is Mr. Queen..
I never watch Healer.. but this video made me wanna watch it.
Healer is one of my top 3 favorites ever on Kdramas. You definitely should watch it.
I have watched so many of these great shows over the years, and I have a long list of favorites to rewatch. A couple dramas at the top 🔝 of that list are “Mr. Sunshine” (the title/name does not reflect the contents of the show to me. It’s such an excellent drama that I have already re-watched several times with friends). I also loved Mr. Queen. It’s one of the funniest historical period dramas, and so well done in every aspect! Another really funny but more modern drama that I really like and have watched several times also is ”Mad For Each Other.” It is hilarious but also has suspense scenes.
Why isn't The Red Sleeve ever on any of these lists? It's soooo good. My favourite kdrama of all time 😭

I'm happy to know I'm familiar with 23 of the 25... and I believe being in America I have access to 23 of them between Netflix and Viki. Only seeing two on the list that I never heard of made me happy. Like I passed the test for being a kdrama watcher and fan. 😂

Both are:
-- supernatural focused
-- have monsters with really good effects
-- a good balance between action, mystery, horror, with a bit of romance
-- good landscape and cinematography
-- good background music
-- magic with really cool effects where it looks real

I usually do not watch thriller kdramas because they are hard to follow.
But , I gave a try and watched BEYOND EVIL .
Oh My. Its so well written , actors are just amazing.

I feel bad that its underrated.
I liked Beyond Evil a lot too but you need to watch Flower of Evil and Mouse too! They are my top 2 kdramas, you will not be disappointed!
Beyond evil is top drama for me too,the only drama that I've watched more than 1 time.even though, I've watched almost all psychopaths themed kdramas but beyond evil is just 🔥, the numbers of plot twists beyond evil has. The way almost every person in that drama had dark secret.

@@mairiconnell6282 You never know what someone is going through. I have depression and some days its hard for me just to get out of bed, and finding the motivation to do anything. Not to mention I have social anxiety so it's difficult for me to actually interact with other people that aren't in my close circle, so having things like kdramas that I can watch on days where I feel down and low and can't get out of bed is something that I am thankful for.

Mr queen--- kinda lot of comedy plus very different storyline that you have never seen -- if you are man you laugh out loud. very innovative
Little women - crime related and unexpected turns .i bet u can never guess what's gonna happen.
Crash landing on you is romantic and bit comedy.
Alchemy of soul - I have watched recently - I watched without sleeping for 2 days. I was hesitant at first to watch it but its the best, I have cried and it has every element to it. Fantasy, crime, comedy, Mother love, bit of romance here and there,
Season 1 can't be beaten by any of the above drama I said.
If u have Netflix watch it for sure as my recommendation #1 Good thing is it has English audio.

Season 2 of alchemy of soul -- I m not fan it's average
First 5 episodes are unwanted
Season 1 has 20 episode
Season 2 has 10 episode
Season 1 is the king of all drama
Once done with s1 go to s2 6th episode you will not miss out as first 5 episode in season 2 has lot of cheeky romance and unwanted plot
holes.
One thing I liked about aos season 1 is
Every minute detail has reason behind it. Specially if you love your mother I bet you will cry at episode 19.
