I figured it out. My mistake is that I ad withSpinner() in server.R. I add the withSpinner() in ui.R. it works nicely! Thank you for your nice tutorial!

shinycssloaders for rhandsontable?
I need to generate a summary table from several files, and table will be displayed by "rhandsontable" function from rhandsontable package. the process takes from 10 to 200 seconds depends on number of files I need to consolidate. I tried the shinycssloaders, unfortunately, it did not work for me. Can you make a video tutorial to show how the shinycssloaders work with rhandsontable? Thanks.
