All while having a permit from the government specifically allowing him to do whatt he was doing. If you were treated like that, you'd probably have a bad impression of that country, too.

The cops took all his cameras and gear so he shot the video on his phone, later that day they took his phone. Luckily he had already saved the video on another phone. Check it out if you have time. You both had basically the same food. Keep on Ranging 🚶 👍

Unfortunately, Sony's bad experience has become so much thought of Egypt, completely ignoring the many beautiful videos that was taken by other TH-camrs.
Hey, you should visit Khan el-Khalili in Kairo and roam the outer parts of it where the goods are actually produced. Very Nice. Also the City of the dead is quite interresting and bizzare.

Why Trevor didn't encounter any hassle in Egypt while Sunny was harrased by authorities of Egypt and questioned, detained and got their equipment held, was asked to delete some footage? This is confusing.
The difference is that Trevor had a really good egyptian tour guide and most of tourism companies in Egypt have good connections with members of police and government
some places in Cairo is not allowed to shoot nearby like military areas and some factories but every where else in Egypt is 100% allowed to use your camera
my guess is because Trevor does not have a camera crew. just him and his wife. also could be arbitrary. some people have the best experience in their life in egypt some have the worst most are in between. its really random. just avoid filming cops i guess.
