A good idea for youth reward, in real life CP has many players from England and Africa on their U18 team. Aside from the scout you currently have you can buy one depending on the play of these youth players if they make 10 appearances. Ex. One player becomes a super sub and has a few goal contributions then you might be able to place a scout in Africa to try and find some more special pieces later into the future
Yeah I’d like to see you maybe find a future start from England , Africa and the Caribbean maybe look to find England a world class Cb or left back or gk as we lack there , or maybe a st replacement for harry kane.

A suggestion for the objectives, Mateta has strangely said in the past he wanted to use Palace as a stepping stone. You should make it that if he scores 20+ you should give him the option to leave. You should try the professional fouling (R1 + X on PS). Give up the yellow but i've found very effective at stopping build ups that have gotten out of control - worth the automatic yellow cards and actually pretty happy with them being in the game as it adds to the realism.

Just the free version. I think the free version uses the most up to date version for a certain number of characters before it reverts to the old model so not sure if that made a difference. Even if it did, the conversations are usually fairly short and it used to refresh every day.
I think some potential targets could be: Richarlison: a versatile attacker that can play both up top and on the wing. Plus not too expensive. Gabriel Jesus: a versatile attacker that can make a early impact and has potential to be great in a change of scenery if he can stay healthy. Arsenal would not mind giving him up. Jamie Leweling: a young versatile attacker with pace that can be bought for cheap and molded into any type of attacking. Thiago Santos: a young fullback with a lot of potential and can be bought for cheap to add depth to the fullback position. Joao Gomes: a great young midfielder who is versatile and strong defensively. Can be a extra piece for the midfield and a long term starter. Merlin Rohl: a young midfielder that has winger versatility and great size. Plus would be cheap to acquire.

The only one thing about past versions was the unrealistic goals. if you managed a smaller team with a small budget the owners would demand promotion and trophies. If you manage a big team of course the goals should be higher and the same if your relegated the goal should be promotion back to the top league

Yeah that’s fair. CPU attacking logic is way better and more varied than 24 but 24 gameplay is a bit smoother atm I think. I definitely think the upgrade will be worth it if the first couple of patches fix the most significant issues.

Should use the youth tournament to pick the players to call out of the youth academy. Could make another conversation with Douggie about which players are performing well. Also it you lose Eze next season, Sem Steijn from Twente would be worth a punt. For LB Doughty from Luton, as a shrewd signing. Had an impressive campaign in the Prem Irl for Luton.
Would you ever do a career mode with a team in scotland OUTSIDE the old firm to try and end the dominance of the two glasgow teams? a good team to use would be Hearts , they are currently in talks with brighton owner Tony Bloom for a nice takeover.

I’ll still be trying to complete the objectives if I can but we usually use a much smaller budget than the game gives you anyway. The budgets tend to be a bit inflated vs irl.
If you don't hit the youth academy objective, your top 2 youth players (either in the system or on the first team) have seen that they don't have an immediate future playing at Crystal Palace, and have demanded to be released.
Scout ivory cost, for next saha and Senegal could be underated place to scout and Jamaica could also be good place to get some new talent to the academy

I've read that you using your own sliders. did you take a reference from the simulation sliders of the dev team? did you tweak as well the CPU?(speed,crossing freq,etc...) I'm trying to find the right balance. currently, the sim sliders are too slow in my opinion. un-realistic. your sliders look much more realistic, just the CPU doesn't cross at all. so my question was regarding those changes that you made :)
I have a question for you. I haven't bought the game yet. In FC24, the game speed was annoying me.. Are the CPU and User sliders of your game set to 50 in normal mode? Or have you changed them? If you have changed, post a video of your settings, I saw the speed of the game in this video was great
That’s why it’s going to be a little awkward this year. They’re both CAMs. Not only do we not really play a formation with a number 10, but they’re also out of position in the new tactics systems. But I’m working on it!
Having ur striker on target man will make him stay on edge of the box an not really make runs into it. Id go advanced forward and put overlapping runs on for wing back. Ur players arent making runs soon enough so theres nowhere to go an ur stuck unless u go past someone. Same with runs into the box.
The new tactics system doesn't have overlapping runs for fullbacks or players in the box. And if I put Mateta on Advanced Forward then I can no longer play Wing Play and then I'm not getting any boost from my coaches. Really frustrating because the tools are there, they're just so restrictive that you can barely use them.

I'd say it's good and has the potential to be excellent if they iron out a couple of issues. Depending on what the first couple of patches bring, this game could be incredible.
You can implement your own realistic consequences for failing though. Like we’re doing. The problem with the sacking is the that consequences were wildly unrealistic. The ultimate consequence for failing in the most minor way.
Buzzko is working on a new version and has been hoping to get it out ready for the main release. Not sure if that’s still the timeline but hopefully! 🤞
Getting sacked isn’t the only possible consequence. We’ll be implementing more realistic consequences, both good and bad, if we achieve or fail the objectives.
I’ll be honest, as a palace supporter, Josh Harris and co have let us down. Most of the money seems to be reinvested in his American teams, not into the club. Textor whined and sold his stake when we didn’t give him 100% control, and Parish is clueless. The picture is darker than it seems on the surface

Would you ever do a career mode with a team in scotland OUTSIDE the old firm to try and end the dominance of the two glasgow teams? a good team to use would be Hearts , they are currently in talks with brighton owner Tony Bloom for a nice takeover.
I appreciate the suggestion but I don’t think this is something I’d do. There are too many other teams I’d rather use. If I did an SPL career it would be with Celtic or Rangers 😂😂
Doing more board objectives means higher budgets
I’ll still be trying to complete the objectives if I can but we usually use a much smaller budget than the game gives you anyway. The budgets tend to be a bit inflated vs irl.
I've just realised that this might have been a suggestion for a custom objective. I think we can definitely use the idea for one of the rewards.
If you don't hit the youth academy objective, your top 2 youth players (either in the system or on the first team) have seen that they don't have an immediate future playing at Crystal Palace, and have demanded to be released.

I have a question for you. I haven't bought the game yet. In FC24, the game speed was annoying me.. Are the CPU and User sliders of your game set to 50 in normal mode? Or have you changed them? If you have changed, post a video of your settings, I saw the speed of the game in this video was great

Kamada needs to be starting majority of matches. You need to find a formation/system that gets Eze and Kamada on the field at the same time.
That’s why it’s going to be a little awkward this year. They’re both CAMs. Not only do we not really play a formation with a number 10, but they’re also out of position in the new tactics systems.

Are you frequently getting heavy touches because of knock ons or did you put FT Error very high?
User FTCE is at 5. I rarely even use knock ons though I do from time to time. Most of the heavy touch are just from left stick and sprint.

Having ur striker on target man will make him stay on edge of the box an not really make runs into it. Id go advanced forward and put overlapping runs on for wing back. Ur players arent making runs soon enough so theres nowhere to go an ur stuck unless u go past someone. Same with runs into the box.
The new tactics system doesn't have overlapping runs for fullbacks or players in the box. And if I put Mateta on Advanced Forward then I can no longer play Wing Play and then I'm not getting any boost from my coaches. Really frustrating because the tools are there, they're just so restrictive that you can barely use them.

You can implement your own realistic consequences for failing though. Like we’re doing.
The problem with the sacking is the that consequences were wildly unrealistic. The ultimate consequence for failing in the most minor way.
