- The full build from start to finish of what i think are the best fully automatic WOLVERINE CLAWS on the internet, no one else has made a pair that deploy AND retract.
Simply put i,m very pleased with these they look brilliant.

Awesome ! You could put in knife sharpeners too, so every time you extract and retract the blades it keeps a razor edge !

Its because regular people are stupid. watching people dance, they can understand. But a man doing the incredible things this man does makes them feel confused and scared, and TH-cam is all about money and the lowest common denominator brings in the most money

Wish I had a garage like yours. I could totally DIY my heart away. Really good hard work is being put into this video. From the content to the different screen shots, background music and awesome creator/engineer. Hope there's more to come ;)

Best wolverine claws I've seen despite the fact I didn't see anything about heat treating the claws or locking mechanism.
Colin Furze is my new obsession. I've never wanted to be a maker so bad. And these videos are really well made and watchable. Keep cranking out these videos and new inventions!

I'd like to see this guy make the hidden blade from assassins creed, there are lots of video tutorials about it, but none of those work in both ways, they either extend automatically or retract automatically but not both.

Sorry if i lost it on the video, my english isn't that good! But, how does it locks at the edges? So the claw won't slide out when it's faced to the floor, and to keep the claw fixed so it won't get back in when you try to cut?
+Giovanne Bressam the pneumatics hold it in place until pressure is applied. It takes some force to overcome the vacuum effect while the valves are closed. Not a ton, but enough that it won't just fall off accidentally. You probably can't apply a lot of forward stabbing force without a separate locking mechanism, though.

Are you using electric controlled valves with those buttons or are they valves theirselves? Wire going to those buttons seems kinda thin..
Look electronic to me. We use a solenoid system at work for safety lockouts on our presses so as long as you wire a relay to tone down the amp/volts, you should be okay with that small wire

to make a fist to avoid the wolverines blades but if you have a make a fist and active pyros glove you'll burn you hand, if you were to move you hand out of the way for pyros flames your hand will be impaled by wolverines claws

@colinfurze I read 2 comments which got me thinking. One person spoke of revisiting this awesome project. Another thought they were too bulky. Do you think it would work as well using electromagnets? Would it require less equipment to carry around?
Curious to know how you would approach a revisit.
