Because they covered Let It Go which lost a lot of people. They went from a different sound, to sound like every other band. The problem with most metal nowadays, everyone sounds like radio metal

Some riffs got some Novelists vibes (obviously cuz they're on Out of Line Music) and dude's lows is so sick too and the chorus man he sounds like Sam Carter. Definitely that ending breakdown just caused a Black Hole. Can't wait to hear more from Rui on this band.

When I thought Rui was gonna give us some Bozeman-esque screams and instead we got singing I got interested. Credit to BTM for mixing things up, very interested to see where they go from here.

Out of Line Music's, ability to recognize and sign great talent is phenomenal... !!! Betraying the Martyrs, is such a gifted band. They "check-off all the boxes", when it comes to finding the right balance of everything that's great about this genre of music.

It's pretty cool that they're they're now strictly a metalcore band now. Back when the OG vocalist and Aaron was in the band they were straight up mixing metalcore and deathcore. Which they still could be doing right now as far as the new album goes and more new singles. I'm sure they are but we'll have to wait to see. This song is awesome. Part of it gives me an architects vibe.

@@jasonlovesmusicreacting882yes you're right about that. Their first couple of eps in first couple of albums were combining both blackend deathcore and metalcore. Because you can tell by the way he's screaming in those albums and eps is that he was mostly doing metalcore screams. But when his Lows got lower a little was the deathcore screem. He also done some black metal highs as well. So old make them suffer was combining blackened deathcore and metalcore. Betraying the martyrs on the other hand their first two albums I think were more deathcore with clean vocals. When the original vocalist left the band Aaron came in and that's when they were mixing metalcore and deathcore a lot more and then when Aaron left the band to do ten56. The original vocalist of borderlands became the current vocalist of betraying the martyrs and now they're just metalcore and that song sounded a little bit like architects. If you don't know what borderlands is no I'm not talking about the video game I'm talking about the band borderlands they're metalcore or Prog metalcore. Their songs are in the style of old school erra.
I mean this is a good song, but I still hope there’s some death core in the future. I personally think it’d be sick if they did a mix of architects with deathcore

Few things I want to say, I like this. I’m glad I have Aaron on a project where he shines and BTM where they clearly wanted to go. Production 10/10, new vocalist is cool. I’m ready to hear more to give a proper evaluation. But I like it. Been here since day 1, ain’t going nowhere either.💪🏽

Heard this while I was listening to Spotify, playing some chivalry 2 a couple of days ago. I had to stand there in game and let people wail on me and my kill streak to so I could find the name of this song. All worth it.
As for the song, which I'll listen to some more. I have to say it has that pure raw emotion that I like in this genre or "releasing the evil". Plus the lyrics are easy to remember and I caught myself at work today humming along to the tune.
